Yeah it sound sad to me and even then isn't it a futile attempt anyway? I mean on the sale record, it would imply that Roselina is yet again popular thus they make more of her to sell and if this guy is for real, he too would buy them all thus repeat the cycle?
Also I guess this is a sign for me to buy Roseline Amiibo now (she is one of my favourite fighter)!

The way Nintendo of America, as well as retailers, have been handling Nintendo merchandise over the last few months has been absolutely terrible. On Nintendo's side, we've had then not print enough of many things (Amiibos, GameCube Adapters) to where now the only place you can get them is through scalpers who are charging way too much. I also blame Nintendo of America for doing retailer exclusive shit, which just screws people over who are not close enough to those stores in general to actually buy them. This isn't an issue in Japan, and is apparently only a minor problem in PAL regions so Nintendo of America screwed up there.
Then there are the retailers who screwed up by allowing multiple preorders from scalpers in general. Just look at the whole shit going on with the Majora's Mask Limited Edition, in which scalpers have bought out a good majority of them to where they are now sold out, and now they are being sold for triple to quadruple the price, just for a damn preorder. Fry's Electronics are being smart and only have preorders in stores when it comes out it seems, and Best Buy has actually been cancelling peoples multiple orders and apparently banning scalpers trying to take advantage of the system. It also doesn't help that when you preorder on Amazon or at places like GameStop or Best Buy, you actually aren't putting anything down on it as your card isn't charged until the product ships.
All in all, this doesn't surprise me at all seeing as how Amiibos are being like the new Beanie Babies because of Nintendo of America's poor planning, and scalpers are making off with most things because of how the preorder policies are for them.

Its the principle behind it. I hate people like this. Always have always will. "Oh a limited edition PS4 with a paint job resembling the PS1 is going to be made? I'll buy two or three or maybe even just one and flip it for 1000s just because I want to be a dick." Yes, Its not "business" Its just flat being a dick at that point. You've destroyed at least one person's shot at owning something that they would actually use and cherish simply so you could make a quick short term buck, or in this particular case just to spite them. This kind of flipping culture in the game industry is not business, nor will it ever be. His review of one of the PS1's most iconic classics (Spyro 3) consisted of him screaming angry gibberish at the mike for four minutes while smashing the game disc and cover with a hammer because it didn't have Mario in it!
(I don't think he's ever made a video in which he doesn't destroy something.)
On a positive note, he'll most likely single-handedly make those figures successful enough that Nintendo decides to churn out more of them for the rest of us!
