For those who don't want to read, the short version is exactly what the title says. Personally I think the man is either lying or insane consideering a normal human won't usually last three days without water. What really concerns me though is that the comments on the article suggest that some people actually believe this man. I find this it highly disturbing that anyone could be that gullible, but I'd like to ask fellow escapist what they think. Do you believe this man? Do you believe it can be done at all? Do you find it disturbing that people can even suggest this is possible? Will anyone care? Discuss.

Yea, this is old news. The thing is, they let him gargle and take a bath... Obviously, the guy just drank water and peed during those periods. It was also noted that he lost weight while they were watching him. Obviously, he's faking it.

Don't think it's true, but if it is, then WOW, because I can't even last 70 minutes without at least water. Which also leads me to say that it's a load of bull.

The friggin' Buddha almost died from doing stuff like that for months, and this guy claims to have gone years? Clearly, he's able to go long stretches, but he's either lying, or he's a True Ancestor.

This man is clearly just trying to gain attention. He has to be lying, or God himself(herself?itself?) has made this man immortal, and if this IS the case, he has better things to do. Like curing cancer or something. I can't believe he's actually gaining this much attention. It's really sad that people would be so gullible.

I call major bullshit.
Because it is. Breathairianism. Sadly every culture has hokum like this.

In America I'd suggest that homeopathy is quite the big steaming pile of bullshit.

Is it possible to live on food rich in water? If I recall correctly, Koala Bears never drink water, however the leaves of the Eucalyptus tree are so rich in water they dont need to drink. Is this possible for a human to live like this? I meant 70 years is a little ridiculous but in theory?

I've lasted more then a month without drinking water and I'm fine. So I think that whole 3 day thing is bull.

I recall that the Indian Army is at least taking him somewhat seriously. They are looking at his techniques to see if they can help soldiers go for longer times without supplies.

Shenanigans!!! Not biologically possible. 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food = dead.

Yeah... sounds like just another fellow who is trying pathetically to get attention in a world where it seems like everyone, their mother, their household animal, and all of their descendants are on a crusade to try to gain respect from their peers. It would be sad if it was not so common.

Bullshit, just that.

But then again, seeing how many people believe in some generic new age or "ancient - " shit it's not surprising people believe this as well.

Biologically impossible things are biologically impossible. There are some pretty unbelievable things that are possible, like being able to exert your muscles and do some pretty super-human things under right conditions, often with exhaustion and lasting damage being inflicted on your body... But nobody would survive for that long without consuming some kind of food. Or water, especially water. One could live up to a month with no food if there's water. But if there was neither, I'd give it 3-4 days tops.
