So this guy's girlfriend decided the best way to get revenge on him for flirting on line was to [a href=http://www.ketv.com/news/21669903/detail.html]handcuff him to his bed[/a] and than post nude pictures of him on his facebook.

The link is safe it's a local news site.

My questions are
A) Did he deserve it?
2) What would you do?
C) Is his point about 'if this was the other way around it would be a big deal' valid?

Can anyone think of any other double standards without getting crazy go nuts?

I instantly think about how when a teacher gets in a relationship with a young boy it's not as reviled as the other way around. Probably because girls are so much more helpless right?

[a href=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.156607#3859050] More info I found by knowing some people that know the guy[/a]

A) no he didn't, that was an incredibly cruel thing to do
2) I'd make this question a B). In seriousness, I would prosecute her for violating my privacy and also breaking Facebook rules, + hacking my account
3imean C) yes it is very valid! feminism has gone too far.

He didn't deserve that, though without more information it is hard to say weather he deserved much at all or not. There's no such thing as a perfect relationship?sometimes people go off on little 'flings' like these because they're unsure or they've gotten bored before coming back to their partner in a new light or, well, leaving them.

I would probably joke about the pictures on Facebook when my friends asked about it, something along the lines of being unable to trust prostitutes perhaps. I probably wouldn't pursue legal action.

It certainly would be different if a man did this to a woman, and she should be facing some kind of punishment for this.

A) some people are flirts, while I'm not justifying his actions, I'm certainly saying that he didn't deserve to be hugely embarrassed and humiliated in front of people he knows.
2) Same thing happened to me, except i was the one doing it and while that may of given me a touch of bias, I guess i would still recommend what happened to me for it; getting broken up with at the most.
C)Most definitely, there would be cries for blood.

A) no
2) leave him and forget about him
C) of course it would. Hed have his ass slinged into court for sexual abuse before you could say "sexism". And yes his argument is valid.

He has a good point, if a woman was handcuffed to a bed naked the guy that did it would probably be given some stupid amount of grief over it. Will anything happen to her? No.

He did not deserve it, and this woman should be locked away for slandering his name to the whole world via the internet. What would I do, if I was the woman? Leave him. But, she took it a step too far. What a disgusting display of jealousy.

A) No. There was exactly 0% of sense making on the girl's part in this entire incident.
2) I personlly don't care if my girl flirts with other people, since we would have an understanding. In her case, I'd suggest letting him know that flirting is not acceptable and he needs to either stop, or it's over.
C) YES! Sexual assult and harrasments goes both ways, the only differences are the methods. If he did that, he would probably have legions women protesting outside his house, have his face shown on every news channel (where they will talk about how he abused the girl for no reason), and get his ass sued off.

Funny how this all came out of internet flirting. He wasn't even saying things to her face to face, much less touching her in any way/shape/form.

It says in the article that he *agreed* to be handcuffed to the bed and photographed. Her crime is posting those pictures in a public place, which has happened before; no one makes a big stink when a pissed off guy posts nude pics of an ex on his Facebook, either. This is how those "Real Ex-Girlfriend" porn sites exist. There's probably some law against it, though, and if he wants this girl to be brought to justice, he needs to call a lawyer about his rights, not whine about how "the community" should be helping him to the local news.

A) No. People flirt. I'm not saying I agree with it his actions but she could be a flirt too.
2) Ask them to stop. If that don't work, break up. There's plenty more fish in the sea.
C) Sadly, yes.

A) I dunno, I guess having naked pictures posted on the internet was a general nay-nay. Then again, he may be
B)I woulda done the same back to her
C) yes there is a lack of double standard here.

Oh, why the fuck even ask? We already know feminists* will cheer for a woman who cuts a man's penis off. You can't get much lower from there.

*Yes, I know. Would call a movement going for equality something that doesn't sound like the polar opposite of chauvinism. Which it is very often.

The charges being brought against the woman are

False Imprisonment and Female on Male Domestic Assault which is apparently a charge in this state.

A - no unless he's agreed not to flirt, then at that point yes
2 - not that, unsure what i would do
C - depends on the person really. flirting for the most part is pretty harmless
