I liked iron man 3 mostly because of RDJ, the movie has some good moments the suits looked nice but they break to fast it feels like they are made of paper i mean just a punch from the bad guys destroys them. Now with the mandarin to be honest i didn't really care that much the twist was funny and ballsy which i liked.

Man of Steel is another thing i kinda sorta like it but there's so many issues it feels like there is a good movie underneath all the bullshit and flaws that keep coming to me, the acting is bland in some characters kevin costner was terrible but the script for his character sucks, they failed hard with superman's earth dad.And superman doesn't feel like superman henry cavill looks like him but he didn't feel like him, he needs to be my heroic and iconic in the film superman is bland as all hell seriously they did a bad portraying him.
The biggest problem with the film is that it isn't fun, it's a superhero movie with arguably the best and most famouse superhero of all time but the movie is boring as hell it's to long. And i think that the biggest sin superhero movie can commit being boring.

The dark knight rises is a film i don't particurally like especially with batman he is such and idiot in the film but i have to admit bane was fun, and there are a lot of awesome moments with batman but only when he leaves the prison, the whole rising and escaping the prison was awesome i'll never forget it.

I thought Ironman 3 was excellent when I saw it and my opinion has not changed one bit in that regard. The film had the best action and story of all three films and the twist in my opinion was just awesome and hilarious. It was just the last thing I think anyone expected to see from a typical superhero film these days given the rote the genre has become, I mean that in a very good way.

Didn't think much of Man of Steel first time I saw it honestly, however after seeing it a second time my opinion of it has improved. I actually really appreciate how it isn't beholden to any earlier interpretation of the character, it really is trying to do something new and unique with the character which I liked. I did agree intially with alot of the criticism it recieved but now I feel I can view the film for what it is which was decent, instead of what people seem to have wanted it to be.

I liked both films actually. If there's enough good parts to balance the meh/bad ones then it's all good to me

I give the writers/director of Iron Man 3 credit for pulling one hell of a switch-a-roo and risking the wrath of backlash, which still happened but whatevas. It both worked and didn't work because Ben Kingsley's reveal excelled where Guy Pearce's reveal kinda fell flat. I also liked Tony's PTSD problems because the guy almost died! it's good to see him not immediately shrugging it off and it gave him a nice change of pace from the usual tony stark snark

Like for MoS, there was moments where the logic got fucked, i.e. Pa Kent deciding to die instead of letting Clark be the hero(i believe this scene could have worked if written differently) or the military firing on a town that's STILL FULL OF CIVILIANS! WTF MILITARY?!
BUT, there was still plenty of movie that excelled, like many of the childhood flashbacks(the one scene of kid clark posing with a red towel is one of my favorites), the whole beginning scene, the fight scenes(though needs some serious amount of editing), EIDT: the music was wonderful, and the goofy ending. Also, guys! the cinematography is beautiful! why is everyone ignoring the cinematography?!
There is hope the writers and directors will listen to the critiques and fix the problems for the next movie.

MoS would have benefited from the Marvel approach f movie making, which is accept this universe as amazing and watch us go insane, and for them it fucking WORKS!
I blame Warner bros/DC's reluctance to get away from the grimdark formula of the DK because that only works in Batman's universe.

In conclusion:

I will say I think the idea of having a washed up actor deliberately play up a figure head for a criminal organization is a neat idea. It's just hard not to be disappointed when you're working with a pre-established character.

Switching out the villain in Iron Man 3 was a risky move. Many were looking forward to seeing The Mandarin on the big screen, and replacing the main character's arch enemy isn't something that would fly with any other hero.
The fact is Killian doesn't stop there from being a real Mandarin in a future Iron Man film, Killian's think tank could have simply used an already existing they myth found in a history book (well what they thought was a myth) to create their fictional Mandarin.

Directors should stop telling Superman origins stories, everyone knows who Superman is and if they don't that what all the previous movies are for. If they really feel they need to cover the origin in the movie then they should do like 5 min comic book style flick book thing to sum it up quickly.

We need a Superman movie that is just Superman being Superman on a regular day that Lex/Zod/Darkseid or such does some evil thing.
This pretty sums up my opinion.
