Just to test the water regarding this subject.

Since this forum is probably one of few where this discussion will gain the most traction (translation: a lot of members know what the mana bar is and will be able to answer when compared to other forums) I am here to ask how many people would like to see the Mana Bar brought to the UK and other European countries?

I for one would, I live in Liverpool, UK. We have a massive student population as does our neighbouring city, Manchester.

what about other European members of the Escapist?

If so, where do you live and why would the Mana Bar want to start a chain in your city?

(btw, i don't represent anything to do with the Australian based Mana bar, this is just a hypothetical discussion)

i'd go to one if there was one in norway and i lived nearby. ^^ Altoh where i live atm there would be no reason to make one. if you built one in the student cities you would probably get a lot of people going to them.

I would pay so many moneys to make that happen...although I doubt it would. TBF I was stoked when I heard a relative may be going to Australia and instantly went "CAN I COME WITH, I NEED TO CHECK OUT THIS BAR!" sounding like the alcoholic in the family.

Anyway, where was I, if this came to say Birmingham I'd be there 24/7, if it came to London I'd be there as often as I could go, anywhere else I'd have to check train times, but like I said, I would pay so many moneys for this to happen...

As I am more likely to visit the UK over anywere else then yeah that would be great. However I would love it even more if they just put one one in the US preferably on the west coast or Arizona.

Bring one to the Netherlands. There are tons of students there.

EDIT: Bring one to either Amsterdam, Utrecht or Middelburg. There are international colleges there.

Cambridge, UK please.

Put it next to the Games Workshop, which is on the main road into Cambridge. Sorted.

I'd franchise the hell out of that shit. Put one in Utrecht, Paris, London, several large cities in the States, just for starters. Sure I'd want one in Den Bosch for myself, but we have to stay realistic, right?

Not only is Copenhagen a city where you can get around really fast, we also have LOADS of students and we have the highest average alcoholic units/person in the world.

Same for me, since I live just over the water from Liverpool and attend LJMU it would be an ideal place for students to relax after a tough day of lectures.

The hell are you all going on about? What is a mana bar? (besides something that makes mages really tired and or thirsty)

Come to Newcastle-upon-Tyne, where there's any even bigger student population (or at least, there's 2 universities), plus it's one the main train line between Edinburgh and London

You folks know that it is quite possible to start your own business taking into account what the Mana Bar's mission is. So yeah, potential business owners, have fun! :p

A bar started by a certain man in Australia where adults can hang out and play their favorite games in ... you guess it ... a bar.
