I cried when Thor doesn't ever get to see Natalie Portman ever again, because the Rainbow Bridge was destroyed! He doesn't ever get to see her naked!

Where the Wild Things Are. I'm 19, my uncle is 27. We cried manly tears that movie. Holy shit it was one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Shawshank.

In fact, I credit Shawshank with my last two girlfriends. Girl watches that movie for the first time with you, sees you shed a quiet tear or two, notices that you don't rush to wipe it away in a vain attempt at machismo... Yeah, that works.

Damn, how do you have 500 posts already when you only joined on October 5th?
I get around easily, of course.

Here's to number four hundred and ninety five!

A Knight's Tale Quote:

Old Bishop: [after William rides into the cathedral on a horse to woo Jocelyn] Ladies! Does this not shock you?
Jocelyn: [feigning sadness] I only laugh to keep from weeping.
Old Bishop: I know, child. Pray that the years come quickly for you, taking your beauty so that you may better serve Him.
Jocelyn: I do, every day.
[raises hands to face]
Jocelyn: God, why did you curse me with this face?
Old Bishop: God has a plan we know not.
[offers hand to Jocelyn to kiss]
Jocelyn: [goes to kiss hand, but instead admires a costly ring on his finger] Oh, that is lovely...

When Heath Ledger died, I cried. He was a brillant actor, with a lifetime of potential Star roles.

Me too, every time.

Also I normally have a tear or two at some point in pretty much every Pixar movie.
I'm a girl though so I suppose they aren't manly tears.

Grave of the Fireflies - true test of manliness. Crying is inevitable.
Also, the first ten minutes of Up.

I cry during the end of The Luck of the Fryrish. It's a sad episode.

Additionally, I used to cry when hearing this one song called Flames by a band called VAST. I don't anymore, but to date, it is the only song to have moved me to tears.

Sometimes it is cathartic.

I pretty much cried the whole way through Schindler's List.
Marley & Me made me cry too.
But they are lady tears, not manly tears.
