I cried a little during Treasure Planet. When Silver is leaving and Jim being the retard he is doesn't go with him. And then he says he has faith in him with the quote"Look at ya Jim! Glowin' like a solar flare! You'll rattle the stars you will me boy." And then the treasure he left him to rebuild the inn....funnily enough, that's the only movie I cried over.
That scene got me too :(
I wish they would make another Treasure Planet.

I saw a comic about Derpy Hooves that made me tear up.
Warning: Manly tears shall be shed.
I see your Derpy and raise you a Spike and Twilight.

Gets me every time.

I could seriously quote half the thread thus far of all the things that have caused me to man tear. However, one I notice that hasn't been mentioned that did it for me was the ending to Dragon Quest VIII, both of them. The sheer beauty of that ending always gets me.

Also, Ryoko's Death in Tenchi Universe. The first time I saw that as a kid, I cried myself to sleep. Still makes me shed a tear whenever I think about it. Like right now, excuse me...

Idk. Feelings 'n stuff.

Not a lot though, just when I feel shitty. Mostly caused by girls, failiure or sad music.

I once had this really funny discussion with a really religious girl. She said: real men don't cry. I replied with: Jesus cried. She didn't know what to say after that.

Every man cries. Real men stand up for their feelings, regardless of what those feelings actually are.

Lets see... Toy Story 3 is definately a winner, first at the incinerator scene and at the end (best possible ending for the series).

Clannad and Kanon made me very unmanly at times...

Angel Beats!'s ending gets me every damned time.

Star Trek TNG - Where la forge disappears presumed dead by all. Everyone feels bad for Data who obviousky is affected by his 'death'. On return of la forge, everybody is happy but poor Data is unable to really understand or show any emotion... it was a beautiful episode.

Black Beauty was probably the first film to unleash the tears of manliness.

The Green Mile, Forest Gump, Braveheart, and the first 10 mins of Up. That bastard snuck up on me and sucker punched me right in the emo organ...

Fucking Clannad after story.
That flower field scene.

To my credit, that was the only time. And only one tear.

Why does Clannad have only two mentions in this thread excluding mine?
That is not acceptable.

I had completely forgotten about those 2 songs, and how awesome they are...
If you'll excuse me, I need to go dig out my VHS player and watch Treasure Planet again :)

When Flint Fireforge died in Dragonlance, there was some manly tears for that old epic bastard, and because I think a few lines down someone said "but who will look after those youngsters?"

When Whitebeard died in the epic way that he went as well as the narrator's comment after about him having no scar or damage from running away.

Aside from those I really cannot remember much else. I do know this: Manly tears happen when someone epicly sarcrifies themselves or dies in such an epic manner and I don't mean epic like "hey he fought a lot of guys and died" hell no, I mean "Took inhuman amounts of damage, older than crap and still showing people up while at the same time being a better person then people he's fighting" that, my friends, is my definition of epic death.

Manly tears for me...twice so far.

Return of the King, when Theodon leads the Rohirim into the battle at Minas Tirith.

Tron Legacy, when Kevin gives his life for his son. I'm really close to my dad, so that one got me good.

You must not have a soul!
MUFASA!

My boyfriend has never even seen it, if he doesn't well up when I show him I think we'll have to have a talk!
I teared when I saw that sad scene. *wink*

OP:
Also at these movies; Saving Private Ryan, Shawshank Redemption, Dead Poets Society, and a few choice Doctor Who scenes (2010 Christmas special).

But I cant cry for a while. My jack russel/doxen mix puppy is getting old and i know he only has a couple years left. Im saving up my man tears for when he dies, hes been such a good pup I wanna make sure he has a nice long sorrowful cry.

Shawshank.

In fact, I credit Shawshank with my last two girlfriends. Girl watches that movie for the first time with you, sees you shed a quiet tear or two, notices that you don't rush to wipe it away in a vain attempt at machismo... Yeah, that works.
i'll keep that in mind

The end of the Green Mile got me. I almost shed a tear at the incinerator scene in Toy Story 3, but managed to keep my composure.

Seriously? that was the only time? I watched both series over the course of about a fortnight and I must have been in tears at least every 3 or 4 episodes. That show absolutely tore my heart to shreds. I actually stopped watching after
Nagisa died
because I didn't want to know how it could get any worse... But then I went back, and it did.

Other things that have got me were The Lion King, Land Before Time, Toy story 3 and the big one was Bridge To Terabithia. I was depressed for at least a week after watching the end of that movie. Dammit, I thought of it again and now I'm miserable again :(

Last episode of Calvin and Hobbes.

Vincent and the Doctor.

England going out of the World Cup on penalties.

Kidney Stones.

It happens, deal with it.
Episode? I'm pretty certain there wasn't episodes, but I know that Bill Watterson wasn't against the idea. He just didn't like the thought of casting someone to voice the characters.
