It's kinda hard for me to find a game, when I do though it's pretty fun. Love hearing the team's voices in robot form. There's just something deliciously evil when a robot soldier shouts "You are all weak, you are all bleeders!"

That being said, I kinda wish my framerate didn't suck or that I didn't have to deal with the occasional lag. Oh well, I'm finding myself playing Medic a lot in that gametype anyway. Although it's great fun setting a group of robot scouts on fire as a Pyro.

Don't use matchmaking, just use the server browser and type in 'mvm' in the map box, then look for servers with less than 6 people in. Got in a match within the first 10 minutes of the update coming out.

It is AMAZING fun. amazing.

Several people [myself included] have never gotten this to work. While it is helpful it isn't guaranteed and you'll spend as long waiting as the people in the queue so what is the bloody point.

I just couldn't get in, I'm not waiting 26 fucking minutes to play.

Bloody wanka, I was at it for three hours before getting into my first match and I was all prepared to kick some metallic ass and.... Then they never showed up...

I have seen and played one map up until the horde until the bastards decided not to show up. It was kinda fun upgrading stuff but until I can actually play it I don't know what I am going to do.

I tried yesterday with friends it didn't work. I tried again today with friends, waited over an hour to find a server and it kicked us out. I go back on and the item server is constantly going on and off. I think I going to wait a bit.

Played it for a few hours today, and really like it.
The only problem would be the balancing, having to redo the same wave because you have a bad team gets frustrating after the 5th time.

Dunno if everyone missed it or something, but if you have a halfway decent internet connection you can just host a 6 person game(the cap for mvm, anyone else who joins will just spectate). Skips the matchmaking bs entirely.

I tried to play it just now, but the damn matchmaking system for it is imo inexcusable and lazy. They expect me to wait 25 minutes just to get access to it? No, no way Valve! Either give this mode the same quick search function that the multi-player has, or just get rid of co-op mode altogether.

Also, tried searching servers through the servers menu, and everyone I've found with this mode is password protected, so no luck there at all.

Is it even possible or do you just get torn apart by a massive hoard?

For some reason, the only bots that do anything are spies and medics (but only if they're healing you). The rest hang around in the spawn moving erratically.
As soon as a tank comes you're dead meat, one player simply doesn't have the fire power to destroy it in time.
