Aside from Other humans, what would man's greatest enemy be?

I would have to say in my humble opinion man's greatest enemy would be... Bears...they're godless killing machines.

Edit: And no more posts about man being it's own enemy!

Edit 2: What the heck? How did this come back from the dead?

Aliens, obviously. I mean, you can reason with Predators and even earn their respect but those Xenomorphs just don't give a fuck.

Greed, general materialism, unability to think for themselves anymore, ignorance, selfishness and, umm, pineapples?

Man's greatest enemy is Man. Because what other animal goes to war against itself, kills others for the sheer pleasure of it, and takes pride in the suffering of others of it's kind? Only humans. We claim to be better than animals, but people too often forget that we are in fact much worse...

I think Currently it's Aid's, but that is starting to be conquered, so...

Nature (Or a Lack of it) is our greatest enemy.

I would include disease in a subcategory within the singular enemy we know as nature. The Earth need only to sneeze (metaphorically) to cripple us. landslides, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, volcanos, ice ages, sink-holes, sandstorms, viruses, microbes...I'm not including animals since my list is already ridiculously long but if headed under 'forces of nature' I think I've flown through a loophole. Besides people can kill bears and sharks. You can't kill a hurricane.

Ourselves. And not just in that "Man wil eventually wipe himself out due to nuclear war" or something, I'm talking its our very nature to be destructive towards ourselves sometimes. We can make some really stupid decisions unconciously or purposefully. What with greed and hate being so plentiful within our species. Not to mention that we're smart enough to actually wipe ourselves out if we put our mind to it.
