Mario Kart DLC discovered? with Link, F-Zero, and Animal Crossing stuff? Whaaa..?

Now, a few things:

-Wait, wait, wait, is that Link on a motorbike? What?
-Sweet, new DLC should help that community grow
-IS THAT AN F-ZERO TRACK AND A BLUE FALCON KART!?!

OK, I'm too excited to post correctly but I'm wondering what your opinions on this is.

I think Link should be riding Epona. I have no idea how that would fit into the cart racing but I'm sure it would be funny to watch.

Anyway, I'm in two minds about this. I've been wanting a "Nintendo Kart" game for quite a while so I'm excited for this sort of thing, but on the other hand it seems kind of...wrong to have it as paid DLC. I feel it should be a fully-fleshed out game. Kinda like Sonic and SEGA All Stars, but with obvious changes. Have Hyrule Field with Link riding Epona and have "Pokemon protagonist" ride Ponyta or something.

Maybe it'll be something they consider based on how well this goes.

Well, this will be the only game where Link can drive a Mercedes so that's something.

OT:16 tracks, 6 characters and 8 karts for 14 pounds is pretty good in my eyes. That's about the size of an old PC expansion, much better than 5 CoD maps for $15.

Not only is the DLC real, but if you buy both it's for the cheap price of 12$, you also get 8 new colors for Yoshi and Shy Guy (Early if you pre-order it tomorrow).

I Think I'll need to buy these DLC's. Especially for Dry Bowser, who was my main in MKWii.

I've always wanted Mario Kart to include other Nintendo characters, this is totally ideal for me! I'm still surprised Kirby has not been a special character in a Mario Kart yet. I could also see Pikachu appearing in one.

Also sixteen new courses? Sounds good to me!

This is DLC done properly. These packs add a huge extra chunk to the game. Instant buy for me!

I really want to whine and complain about Nintendo being corrupted by the shitty business practices of DLC, but I can't because this is actually a really good deal from the looks of it. New characters and tracks and the price is really reasonable (in fact, I'd even be willing to pay a little more for it than what they're charging). I mean, the 16 tracks alone is worth the price, and the extra carts and characters are just icing on the cake.
