It's so weird that it's not really popular anywhere other than Britain though. When I was travelling through Europe it was almost impossible to find. Eventually found the smallest jar version in the Ka De We in Berlin but it took ages and they cost 5 euros each!

After all that European food which is actually quite restrictive within each country it was a God-send.

I have to say that I thought the worst food was in Italy. They actually don't have anything other than seafood, pizza and pasta, pretty much all tomato based. I don't know how they manage it, there's just no variety.

Lol, well I guess they either love it or DIE! Doubt they'll have much time to get to hate it.

I eat it every single day, it's my favorite on top of some peach cobbler. Mix some grits up in there, and you'll be in heaven.

In all actuality, I have no idea what the stuff is. Maybe a description would be good.

Marmite is erm... its unique its hard to describe it... help? please!
All I know is its yeast extract, if thats any help. Maybe its called something different elsewhere, I supposed it a bit like vegemite but better.
