Flop sighed. It was always up to her to sort things out. "Fine, you guys be lazy. Stay in the forresty bit while I got get food. Anyone wanna help me?"

Spiffy threw himself down on the ground.
"SLEEPYTIME NOW!" He shouted.
He then began to snore noisily.

 

[LockHeart]

Splat puffed a bit more, having almost fully regained his breath.

"Alright then so-huff-long as I can rest here for a bit.

 

[Jedamethis]

I'm feeling rested now, I'll come with you Flop. A girl could come into trouble all on her own

"Okay guys! I'll stay here and stand watch while these guys have a snooze." Squeeble said to Flop and Wiggles.

She bounded over to the hole they had made in the hedge, and kept looking left and right.

 

[Fairee]

Flop glared at Wiggles. "Just because I'm a girl, it doesn't mean I'm a useless wimp who can't look after herself." She sniffed the air, smelling something that could be edible. "Right then, this way to the food!" And she bounced off.

"Hurry back!" Squeeble yelled after them, her tiny tummy rumbling again.
She nibbled on another leaf and sat around the hole in the hedge. She could hear birds tweeting.

"It's quite nice on the outside, once you stop getting attacked by giants and sea monsters." She said to herself, yawning.

"Bring me back some noms." Said the rather pudgy Chumpy. "I'm starving.."

 

[Jedamethis]

Don't worry, we'll get enough food for everyone
And I was just trying to be chivalrous Flop, no need to snap at me

Squeeble yawned again, but she kept her eyes wide open, looking out for any more danger. On the other side of the ocean, she could've sworn she had seen something move in the other forest.

 

[LockHeart]

Splat managed an exhausted wheeze, still bearing Chumpy's weight.

"I'd like some noms too!"

His head flopped back into the ground.

 

[Fairee]

"Of course!" Flop called back. "We'll bring noms for everyone!"

 

[LockHeart]

Splat's head bobbed up briefly again.

"Thank you."

Again, his head flopped to the ground.

 

[Time Travelling Toaster]

"Yay!" Squishy shouts popping up from the grass.

"How long was I in there?" he asks bouncing up to the others.

Chumpy yawned loudly. "I'm sooo tired. I've done so much today. I think I deserve a nice lond nap."

Splat managed one final raise of his head.

"You and me both."

That said, he fell sound asleep.

"About 10 minutes I think Squish." Squeeble said to him, as she smiled at the others.

"Nighty night guys." Squeeble starting humming a lullaby for them.

As the marshmallows sleep under the cover of the edge, a light rain starts. Flop and Wiggles use a big leaf each as an umbrella. But it seems unlikely the rain will stop anytime soon.

So where's this food you smelt Flop?

 

[Fairee]

Flop pulled her leaf closer to her, nervous of the water falling from above. "Just over here, I think," She said, bouncing down a small path. "Ah, here we are! Berries!"
