I've been on a bit of a comic book binge lately and I'd like some recommendations for some good collections to read in the Marvel Universe. I've already got some stuff on my "To Buy" list, such as Civil War and House of M, but I'm open to any good Marvel stories. I prefer compilation stuff that I can buy, like Old Man Logan or House of M, but I'd also like to add some individual-storyline stuff.

As far as recommending anything, Kraven's Last Hunt (Spider-man) is pretty good, as is the Annihilation storyline (Marvel's cosmic heroes like Nova, Star Lord, and Silver Surfer). Beyond that, I haven't read much Marvel, hence the reason I made this thread.

Well you have to read To his Coy Mistress. Its a classic
I see what you did there.

Spider Island is lots of fun. Try Spider Island.
You have no idea how long I waited to use that. At least someone got it

You have to read Miracle Man. It's one of the greats.

Written by Alan Moore(Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Batman the killing joke) and Neil Gaiman(Sandman, Coraline, American Gods)

I may have to check that out. I actually just finished Watchmen the other day, so I'm up for some more Alan Moore.

Ultimates Vol. 1 & 2

Ignore the rest its awful
Isn't the Ultimates series what the movies are supposed to based off of or something? I was under the impression that it was supposed to be pretty good. Still, I'll take a look. Thanks.

Is the current iteration of the former Ms. Marvel/ current Captain Marvel any good? I've heard some vague comments from people but never anything actually mentioning the series's quality.

Try the new Moon Knight. Brilliant, badass and of course involves a man in a suit beating the crap out of people.

Really liking Moon Knight.

Superior Spider-Man was a fun read for taking the Spider-Man tropes and turning them on their head.
Rick Remender's runs on Captain America and X-Force are good. He really puts his heroes through hell for the readers sake:)
