Yes, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is indeed on its way.

They've already announced quite a few characters that they are going to include.

My team will definitely be Deadpool (Marvel), Amaratsu (Okami), & Protoman (Megaman)

Dante, Deadpool, Chris Redfield
Deadpool is just mandatory due to my being a Deadpool fanboy. Dante is on there just because it's Dante and it's hard not to argue with someone that slick (and I play the shit out of DMC 3), and Chris Redfield because his biceps are the size of Alaska and he can break boulders with his fists (no, really, go play RE5).
