Marvel vs capcom 3- the wait is very almost over!

I'll be attending the pre-release tournament and the midnight release event at my local gamestop.

I actually never played MvC2 but I loved TvC so since this is more like TvC I'm happy.


I also love they finally included Amaterasu, that alone pretty much sold the game for me.

Would anyone recommend I buy this game if i've never played a fighting game before? It looks great, and the cast looks sweet, but i'm hesitant considering i'll get destroyed in basically every match I play online and I have no idea how to play a fighting game.

Everyone gets destroyed at first regardless of past experience, as long as you're committed to getting better and actually work at it instead of using the mindset that games should just be mindless fun with no depth or know-how involved you'll do fine.


Try to get someone who knows his stuff (either offline or online) show you how to do a few things, look up videos of pro players yourself and try to mimic their combos and tactics and things of that kind. Eventually you'll be having the best time ever and you may even win a bit, which will only serve to make you wanna get even better.

That is true. I know a few people who are into fighting games and could probably teach me a thing or two, and that recent GameStop sponsored tournament is what got me interested in MvC3 in the first place. Maybe i'll give it a shot if I have the money.

MvC3 has everyone able to do 100% combos due to the x-factor so everyone is balanced by being equally broken lol.

He'll probably be in with teh DLC
