I really hope not.
The first one was a consummate singleplayer experience and if history has shown anything it's that when developers try to shoehorn multiplayer into such a thing the results are...lackluster to say the least.
Plus, other players suck. Why do I want them mucking up the fun I'm having alone?

Op is a troll.
And Co-op is pretty hard to do when you are the hero and the rest are just side heroes.

RPGs shouldn't have Co-Op if it is a heavily story driven game and if the player makes choices through out the game. Playing Co-Op one person at the least will not be able to make choices in the game so what in the world would you play Co-Op for? It would be bullshit if you wanted to save Wrex but your friend didn't want to and killed him. Nah, leave Co-Op out of stuff like this.

To answer your question, no, it won't. It has the same squad-based RPG-TPS game-play the first one had.
