Hello Escapist

I have a short question, I am twordes (I couldn't figure out how to spell that) the end of Mass Effect 2 for the second time and I barley have any guns, I am a adept so it's not a big problem but I have been looking for a new hand cannon because I only have found two. One being the first gun you get in the game. So, were can I fined a new hand cannon and were can I get the upgrades for it, I can't fined them either, only one at a vender.

Also, if I start play the game again with this character, what specifically transforms over? Besides guns.

I think there is only 2 for each weapon excluding Heavy Weapons, those you can get 5 different. Upgrades you find them all over the place, by scanning every thing that you find. And I mean everything. If you can click it, do it.

I skipped most sidequests so I don't know if you get more through them, but if you follow the main storyline you only get 2 of each kind.

If you start again with that character you get 25% extra XP bonus, a lot of minerals and some other stuff.

If your talking about the Heavy Pistols there are only 2 in the whole game. They may have added one in one of the many DLC's, but I doubt it.

Lame I know.

Here's to my knowledge the amount of weapons in the game. Including those added through DLC.

Sniper: 3
Pistol: 2
SMG: 3
Assult Rifle: 5
Shotgun: 4
Heavy Weapons: 6

If I'm wrong correct me.

Oh, and its spelled "towards" in case you were wondering.

I don't mean the benefits of it I mean what from that character is carried over? Like upgrades or how good or bad you are.

Nothing transfered over. But you do get a lot of resources/money when you start.

Not sure on alignments though.

EDIT: Seems that it does carry over a little bit. Thanks Nevyrmoore

Depending on what your alignment was at the end of the game, you get a certain amount of paragon and renegade points. For instance, my renegade character carried over about 20 paragon points and 197 renegade points.

as an Adept, you shouldn't be needing to use your pistol for too much anyway. Your allies should be doing most of the gun killing, you should be wreaking absolute HAVOC on the battlefield using your Biotics.

Yeah, they aren't that powerful. I use warp most of the time which only effects one person usually and it only does out half of their health. Then we have singularity which is almost completely useless. It's suppose to effect anyone near it but they have to literally be standing on it. I rather just use push. It wasn't a great idea to be a adept but I'll finish the game then I'll be, maybe a vanguard, a engineer seems like the worst.

sounds like you went with the jack of all trades approach, which doesn't work very well in this game. You sort of need to be the master of a few powers and let the less useful ones sink away to nothing. As an adept, everything you do should be about increasing your biotic powers.. If you're worrying about your gun as an Adept, you're doing it wrong.
