It'll be nice to get Liara back in a bigger role the story, I kind of missed her and her sleep-inducing voice in ME2.

For discussion's sake, do you think it will improve on Bioware's hit or miss DLC record?

I for one hope it's a little longer and more character driven than the previous DLCs.

I'll probably get this, the rest of the ME2 DLC has been quite good. I'm hoping it will properly advance the story like they said it would!

I hated the Zaeed DLC, but loved the Kasumi one (not so much for the story but for having an interesting mission and an awesome addition to the team). Overlord was OK, but repetitive. Sooo... undecided. I think I will wait to see some reviews this time, Bioware (sorry, I really should say EA, I expect they are more responsible) are putting a lot of DLC out for a lot of money per pack, and I don't have the spare cash to waste anymore.

I have a theory on SB's identity. Shadow Broker rhymes with... Joker!? *gasp*

Am I the only one who is annoyed by them taking a fairly significant plot point and apparently ending it in a DLC? I feel like I'm missing out, but I don't want to make a new character just for DLC.

Wait, why would you have to make a new character? Mass Effect 2 doesn't really 'end', so you can complete this DLC using your existing character.

Or that was my understanding...am I wrong?

I might get it (though I've said that about every ME2 DLC that's come out), it looks interesting and Liara was my favourite character from the first game.

I've yet to buy the Overlord DLC, but I probably will get that and this sometime soon if at least so that I have them for whatever content they add to ME3

I read that as "the seventh day of September, 2010". We Swedes have order our dates with "DD/MM/YYYY" not "MM/DD/YYYY" which seems to be the... non-European standard.

Except when you do that, the game no longer makes sense since all the dialogue suggests that you haven't beaten it yet.

Don't worry about it; in my expereience the Mass Effect 2 DLCs are much better as part of a fresh playthrough than just playing them on their own. They just feel awkward and kind of insufficient on their own.
