Well, you also have to take into consideration the fact that the PC version (Feb 26th) comes out a month later than the 360 version (Jan 26th).
Aah, thanks for pointing that one out, I didn't realise it.
Yeah, this little factoid has been causing me to tear my hair out. At least it means I'll be able to get stuff done until the end of February, before ME2 sucks all remaining life out of my body.
I smell a troll in the air...

OT:
You should probably get it for 360, considering that's where your old saves are to be transfered over to the new game.

The graphics in ME1 were great on the 360. The framerate, not so much.

And yeah, 360 Dragon Age is UGLY.

I have played the 360 and PC version of Mass Effect and must say that the PC version is better. It's easier to give orders to your squad, shorter load times (That could depend on the computer though, my friend has a pretty good computer) and driving the Mako wasn't annoying.

So I would say get Mass Effect 2 on PC, seeing as you don't mind about not being able to import your save from the first game.

Seriously, where are you? Because the 360 and PC versions are coming out on the same day in North America, Europe & Australia.
This are you in Asia or something, do you live on the moon?

I still contend that Bioware games should be played on consoles, and it took me five games to get to "consoles" from "X Box".
Huh. I generally hear the opposite from most people. My friends and I tend to prefer the PC versions, since they usually clean up the interface a bit for them, although the inventory/shop system was still a disaster no matter what in ME1...

Unless IGN is wrong, which, all things considered, is very likely.

Not realy a factor as far as my opinion goes, it's worth waiting an extra month for a superior game.

I'd deffinately advice attaining this game for PC, it will not only have higher graphical quality, but also gives you more customisable control layouts and will have a vast quantity of mods created.

I think the poster may be confused by the fact that for some bizarre reason best known to *cough* EA, probably *cough* themselves, America gets the game on the 26th Jan, while in Europe we get it on the 29th Jan :S

Huh, that's weird, I'm sure I heard the February date repeated somewhere else too.
EA website agrees with you though, so I'll go with that.

If you have a pc that is capable of better graphics then the 360 version, you should definitely go for the pc version. Along with better graphics, there's a whole modding community out there that will add hours of play time for any huge game.

Aren't 360 controllers compatible with PC's? I heard they might be, and if they are, you're spoiled for choice controller wise.

Just my two cents.
