I just finished my first ME2 playthrough, and I was really happy to find out that you could romance Tali. She was always in my team in ME1, and I love her Russian-accented awkward techno-nerd self. Her prior history with Shepard realy added to my interest in the story. Of all the characters, Tali seemed the most genuine to me. I also really liked how she really cared for Shepard as a person, something I didn't really pick up from the other romance options. Tali survived the suicide mission, and I hope she's still around in ME3!

It's just a shame that you don't see her face in the short love scene. I'm sure she was gorgeous though.

Next time through, I'll go for Miranda. I'm a sucker for British chicks, even though her accent is pretty bad. And that ass... damn, boy!

I went for Miranda and then Tali, and then Jack.. but honestly.. I like Jack most I think.. Something about a woman that can take care of her self, but really really wants someone to hold her hand... that's how I like my women

Edit: I know that can technically apply to all three, but I felt you needed to dig deeper for Jack to ask to hold your hand, and it was a bigger stretch for her. I like that.

Plus, I like girls that are aggressive sexually >.>

Miranda first play through, then Tali on the second (hell, I didn't know Tali would be romance-able first time around).

As for Jack, really don't like her. Its a personal thing.

As for why, well, first time around, Miranda has a nice ass, and as you get to know her, I found her interesting as a person. Second time around, well, its Tali, who's pretty much a female nerd who can use a shotgun, has a great personality, and has a history with Shepard from Mass Effect 1 - basically, what's not to like?

Yeah, I went with Miranda first time around.

Why?

Mostly that ass.

With my male character in ME2 I decided to skip the romantic option-- here's hoping that I can hook back up with my blue alien from the first game in the third installment.

With my female character I went for Yeoman Chambers, obviously. Space lesbians #1
