It's probably been talked about to death but...

"a lot of people would like to see you together."

Who are these "people"? the crew? their respective goverments? Cerberus?
From what I can tell this probably wouldn't be the first Human/Turian relationship inWorld. Maybe she's just commenting on their compatibility, but I can't help but think someone may be benifiting from this.

Believe me, I tried wording it as carefully as I possibly could to avoid the idea that they were getting it on. Guess I goofed.

Clearly Kasumi is taking a moment to break the fourth wall and is referring to the fans. Because, indeed, the only reason it's an option in two is because a lot of people did want to see them together.
