I heard someone say much the same thing... and that would mean with ME1 under your belt, romancing both the Daughter & the Mother. @_@Redem said:For some reason I like to think we will found out that Samara is actually Liara 2nd mother
If so that would make the former even more wrong to romance![]()

"Mrs. T'Soni, are you trying to seduce me?"
(Old reference to "The Graduate" is both old and referential.)
Given that we're going to the Migrant Fleet this time, you'd think that there would be Quarians walking around suit-free while Shepard and company were made to keep their helmets on. As for a Tali romance, you run the risk of near-X-Men levels of angst, what with the issue of her dropping dead without her suit and all; I'm perfectly fine with her and Shepard being good friends, a la Kirk and Spock. (And what I really don't get is all the I WANNA FUCK TALI DAMMIT-ing I've seen on the GameFAQs and Bioware boards. Aside from the crippled immune system and potentially incompatible genitals, what makes you think that Quarians are any more attracted to humans than humans are to, say, Hanar?)WillSimplyBe said:Hmm, yeah, I've seen a lot of people asking if Tali is going to be a romance option... Personally, I'd just like to at least see what she looks like, especially since we'll be visiting a quarian flotilla in this game!stukov961 said:Well I for one got very happy when I found out Tali retured as a squadmate in ME2.
I sure hope the rumors of a Quarian romance option is true, Tali is by far my favorite character. I've never liked Liara tho, I've always found her annoying. I could live with Kaidan/Ashley (depending on who you sacrificed in the first game) returning. But I'd prefer seeing Legion as a squadmate, especially if he is anything like HK-47.
Is it me, or are there a lot of biotics this time? SuZe, Miranda, Jacob, Samara, I'm pretty sure I saw Thane glowing blue somewhere...yeah. It's a good thing that SuZe loooooooves fighting so much, because I can see that being an issue.WillSimplyBe said:The only character I can't manage to peg at all would be Samara... she managed to jabber on and still not really *SAY* anything... Seems like she might have a bone to pick with SuZe over being the most Badass Biotic *****, however...
To your first comment. Actually, from what I've heard, In Mass Effect: Ascension,(one of the books) they talk about the Quarian Immune system, and they have been using shots to boost their immunities for quite some time already, and DON'T actually have frail immune systems. The suits have become more of a cultural thing among the Quarian people, sort of like women wearing a Burka in some countries.dreadedcandiru99 said:Given that we're going to the Migrant Fleet this time, you'd think that there would be Quarians walking around suit-free while Shepard and company were made to keep their helmets on. Yes you can.Thaius said:So I can't continue my romance arc? None of us can? To be honest, that's kind of stupid. If not very upsetting.
That's Subject Zero.DeMoNxDaVe said:What about Prodigy? For those have seen the Cinematic Trailer remember that part where there's like a cryo (cuz I don't know what to call it) chamber with a bunch of guards around it and then the guy blast them with Biotics? Or is that just Samara cleverly disguised?

no... please read a bit more of the thread posts, guys. Though all surviving members will make an appearance, both Garrus Vakarian and Tali'Zorah(Vas Normandy instead of nar Rayya, now!) *will* be members of Shepard's squad. Not a Spy said:It's official that all the party member's from ME1 (that survived) will make an appearance in the game, you just can't play as them.MasterKirov said:So let me get this straight - even f I save Garrus/Ashley/Kaiden etc from a horrible end in the Virmire mission, IF THEY LIVED THEY DON'T COME BACK?!?!
So much for making choices...
hmm... Done!Vanguard1219 said:Okay, I'll admit that I've been curious about this, but on the other hand it's been confirmed that I have both Garrus and Tali, and those two were my "running crew" for pretty much the entirety of the original game. Just toss in a cameo appearance from Wrex at some point and consider me happy.
xD, you just got ninja'd, lol. sorry!Loop Stricken said:If Wrex survived your ME1 playthrough he'll be leading a huge Krogan clan in ME2.
Heh the possibility that my main Sheppard might die probably the reason I feel the need for the Prima guide (I want to carry him to Mass Effect 3)WillSimplyBe said:xD, you just got ninja'd, lol. sorry!Loop Stricken said:If Wrex survived your ME1 playthrough he'll be leading a huge Krogan clan in ME2.
Anyway, I think for Mass Effect 3... at least I HOPE, they will bring together all surviving peoples from both Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2. Hmm... speaking of which, they said Shepard COULD DIE in ME2, like permanently, what do you suppose that would say about how ME3 would go along? Seeing as how the main character can die in 2?
Hmm, I think they are trying something VERY Suikoden (if anyone is familliar with it.) Where unless the main character has all 108 characters (or in this case, gets all of his squad member's trust, loyalty, and support) He'll die in the ending. So a lot of character sidequests and butt kissing!Redem said:Heh the possibility that my main Sheppard might die probably the reason I feel the need for the Prima guide (I want to carry him to Mass Effect 3)WillSimplyBe said:xD, you just got ninja'd, lol. sorry!Loop Stricken said:If Wrex survived your ME1 playthrough he'll be leading a huge Krogan clan in ME2.

Gee, thanks for spoiling that for me. I really appreciate it...WillSimplyBe said:hmm... He Goes back to the Krogan Homeworld and unites the Krogan people under Clan Urdnot. However, if Wrex *DIED*, then expect to be met with a rain of bullets when you go there instead of praise.
just in case a lot of people who wanted to see it missed it last time i posted it.
