Mass Effect 3 Co-op: Your character race and class

Not playing coop 'cause I'm buying the game used to ensure that EA don't make a dime, I urge you to do the same. If enough of us buy used out of protest over the online pass things, than EA will see that this shit does not fly, and that they have to treat their customers like human beings.

Mehhh, no. I don't like online passes, but Mass Effect 3 is a game I'm more hyped for than anything since...Mass Effect 2. And the multiplayer is just an afterthought, probably something I won't even touch. Yeah, my CE preorder from last June still stands firm.

This is my reaction at the fact that my favourite race isn't playable.

I want my Batarians! They better add 'em in DLC!

Until then, I'll probably settle for a Salarian.

Though, on a side note, the multiplayer really makes me wish they had an MMO for Mass Effect. I've always felt disappointed that Bioware developed one for Star Wars and not for ME instead.

Love the drell, the story behind their race is amazing, plus they look dead cool, AND have a legit excuse to walk around showing their pecs off, something I have failed to do numerous times (apparently university campuses have rather strict dress codes on open days, who knew?)

If I cannae get away with that Imma be a Krogan infiltrator, just because that class choice sounds hilarious

I wouldn't mind being a Quarian, but I'm really a hardcore Vanguard, so I would hope I could be both.

Wouldn't propelling yourself forward in a Biotic Charge be a little...counterproductive as a quarian?

Always loved the Engineer class in the ME games, I'd love to see how I can support my friends as one in the coop mode. My friends can bring the guns, explosions, and biotics. I'll bring the science.

Good luck with that. Just like MW2 was supposed to be protested - and then 99% ended up buying it asap anyway. Protests like yours are futile, especially if you just bicker on the Escapist without actually spreading the idea.

On-topic: I would go for a human Soldier. As a soldier myself, I believe in the supremacy of firearms 'n good old courage. You folks can keep your biotics and techy tricks - pass me my rifle.

to be fair engineers do solve problems, and i don't problems like 'what is beauty?' because that would fall under the purview of the conumdrums on philosophy. no, they solve practical problems, for instance. what is to stop some huge mean tempered, sentient warship from tearing you a structurally superfluous new behind? the answer, is a gun.
