It would take you months to finish the game with an Elcor tank given how slow they move. Hell, what do you do when you come to one of those 3 ft gaps you have to jump? WHAT THEN?darkcalling said:Speak for yourself New York. I was hoping for more species on your single player team. Including Vorcha. Though I really want an Elcor. Organic tank. nuff said

The last word that "official" word that Bioware gave on BSN was "Hopefully we'll have something to show before the end of the month"wooty said:I heard August last time I was perusing on the Bioware forums, it was either that or Autumn.
From GameInformer"The Rebellion Multiplayer Expansion opens two new fronts against the Reapers: Firebase Jade's jungle reservoir and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons as well as equipment, consumables, and six new classes: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Phoenix Adept and Vanguard. The battle continues ? hold the line!"
I believe you're thinking of a Hanar, not Elcor.Sean Hollyman said:I think the fly across, I mean we've never seen an Elcor NOT fly, haven't se?Elamdri said:It would take you months to finish the game with an Elcor tank given how slow they move. I always just assumed that they could move much faster if they really needed to, they just didn't out of habit due to coming from a high gravity world where that could be extremely dangerous.Wereduck said:I believe you're thinking of a Hanar, not Elcor.Sean Hollyman said:I think the fly across, I mean we've never seen an Elcor NOT fly, haven't se?Elamdri said:It would take you months to finish the game with an Elcor tank given how slow they move. Regarding the Elcor mobility issue, two words: Elcor motherfucking vanguard.
The codex bears you out as far as the root cause & I'm sure Elcor have extraordinary strength but I'd imagine any large animals evolved on Dekuuna (the high-G Elcor homeworld) would be evolved to moving slowly. Terrestrial mammals have specialized muscle fibers for rapid motion and as you pointed out on a high-G world that ability would actually be a disadvantage. Also, any Elcor that wasn't raised off-world would likely be musclebound as hell from all the excercise.darkcalling said:I always just assumed that they could move much faster if they really needed to, they just didn't out of habit due to coming from a high gravity world where that could be extremely dangerous.Wereduck said:I believe you're thinking of a Hanar, not Elcor.Sean Hollyman said:I think the fly across, I mean we've never seen an Elcor NOT fly, haven't se?Elamdri said:It would take you months to finish the game with an Elcor tank given how slow they move.
