Mass effect 3 has been 30 at walmart for weeks now , this article is late.
The pc version is still 60 dollars though
You mean this Wal*Mart? http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?search_query=mass+effect+3&ic=16_0&Find=Find&search_constraint=0

Also ... the article is about Amazon's deal, which is only happening today. While my skills are vast and ponderous, time travel beyond 1 second/second is sadly not among them at present.
you know, if you leave your bloody house and actaully go into the elusive building known to many as WALMART, sitting on the shelf with the other xbox titles, theres the mass effect 3 game priced at 30$
and if you direct your attention span to the INSTORE pc games section, mass effect 3 will be there for 60 dollars.

bugger off.
Funny, I was just at a Wal-mart 2 days ago and stopped by the electronics section because every once in a while I can snag a game at 80% off because someone is bein overzealous with the clearance gun. ME3 was 60 dollars. I'm not goin to call you a liar because this seems like a really strange thing to lie about, but I will say your attitude is way unwarranted.

Canadians: Wal-Mart has the same price. And with 97-cent shipping if you want to buy online.

I still won't buy it... actually even if it drops to 5 bucks with all the dlc for free I still won't buy it.

Pretty good deal. I'd bite if I didn't still need to play ME1. Played ME2 on PS3 but only recently got a 360 so didn't have opportunity to play the first game until now.

If this game is $29.99 already, it's got $19.99 written all over it for summer or holiday season.

I saw this as a sign of their declining sales after that whole crap about the ending. Kinda like how Dragon Age 2 sales plummeted after word got out it kinda sucked.

It's been 29.99 at the walmart I work at for weeks now as well. And I live in Canada :O

I suppose I could just buy it anyway for the day when I finally do get a 360 but I also have no way to buy shit off the internet.
Sounds like by the time you have a 360, it'll be 30 dollars regular priced.

Wish they would do this for KOAR. Nearly 3 months and the price hasn't dropped a single squid. Even CEX has it at £38!

Do the customers reviews on Amazon really rate Mass Effect 3 with 2 and half stars? Lolol silly bitter fans, anyways great deal! Of couse I already have the game, but I have a few hours to decide if I should get the game as a B-day present for somebody. :p

Ah to see the lofty fan fiction of Clueless Hudson go down in flames.

Because Hudson told the other writers to fuck off as he wrote THE ENTIRE ENDING BY HIMSELF.
Ah some days its good to see back lash tear arrogant SOBs a new one.

I wouldnt go that far

I own 2 copies, PS3 and PC..I could trade in the PS3 one but then Im not giving up my collectors edion case..also I should hold onto that one for whatever they come up with for the ending

Already have it, and I only paid $35 for a new copy - I lucked out and found an unopened copy being resold at the used price. But yeah, if I didn't already have it, I'd pounce on today's deal.

Is it just me, or is the title of this post kinda... misleading?

I mean, Amazon sales are not an actual price drop. Just a temporary sale. It'd be like me saying that "Game X has had its price cut to $5!" just because it was on sale on Steam that day.

Look at all these internet tough guys talking about how they won't buy the game at this price, despite having all purchased it already. Just because you already sold it doesn't mean you didn't give EA your money. And if you didn't play the game, you have no right to judge it.

Oh, who are we kidding? This is the internet! Everyone has the right to judge everyone!

Yet another very one sided article, isn't there supposed to be some objectiveness in writing professionally. Admittedly stripping out all the passive-aggressiveness towards people that didn't like the endings would mean the article would be a paragraph but why not just write an unbiased paragraph?

If I possessed $30 to pay for this bit of software then I would do so, but alas I have no more then 5 U.S. dollars to my name, and so ME3 alludes me again.

This is a wonderful example of a great thing being the result of massive idiocy...

Great ending (screw you guys, yes it was) leads to bitching leads to nerd outcry leads to Amazon reducing prices.

Kind of beautiful in a sick way...

Like inventing the blender by someone sticking their penis in a rotating fan.
