Hey there,

So I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I just did my first playthrough of Mass Effect 3.
Now, after this I went online to read up more about it and came across some stuff about the Galaxy at War.
It turns out you can increase the readiness-rating by playing an iPad app.

However the iPad app is broken, it can not connect properly.
Well, it did for me for 5 minutes, but then it quit on me.

A little online searching shows that this is a familiar issue ever since last summer.
I can, however, not find anywhere whether or not it was ever fixed due to some work-arround or something.
Do any of you know how I can get everything out of my game?

Thanks.

You don't need to get "everything" out of the game, 'cos that's just EA marketing at work make people buy DLC.

You only need 3100 effective military strength to unlock all endings (after Bioware realised forcing people to play multiplayer in order to get to 4000 was dumb).

Which you can get to, even if you deliberately try to screw everything up like I did, if you play a bit of the multiplayer.

I never even considered getting the app and got as "perfect" of an ending as possible. Having previous ME and ME2 playthroughs helps as characters and interactions from them can become potential war assets in ME3. Also, take the time to explore the galaxy and scan planets. That random special forces platoon may not seem like much EMS but when you add them all up, it makes a difference. And finally, play a bit of the multiplayer, if only to increase your galactic readiness. You don't need 100%, a few 20 minute rounds should suffice to give you the EMS required for the "best" ending.

Yeah, I got over 3000, only missing 1 thing, skipped the Geth fighter mission because I misunderstood the explanation. But it's too bad they just dropped App-support like that...
