Keidan/Ashley back. Seriously. I want my sweetheart back, I played mass effect 2 being completely faithful to my ME1 romance. AND I WANT IT BACK!!!

I'm hoping for a party member who's wearing a trench coat!
My standards aren't too high, are they?

Oh and more logic, though the bad parts of Mass Effect 2 are small enough that you may not notice them.

- Miranda, Garrus and Thane coming back as a squadmate/love interest again.
- The same LI system but let you do more stuff at the end of the game with them. New dialog, some more unique things to do with them in the cabin, etc.
- Planet scanning system (post-patch or faster, and yes, I'm serious) and the upgrade system making a return and have a shitload more upgrades available. Having 100,000 Palladium and 120,000 Platinum lying around gathering space dust was kind of a waste.
- A better squad upgrade system, damn it. Maxing out three of my teammates' abilities and having three permanent squad points left over was annoying. ME1 gave you measly 2% bonuses to abilities from one level to the next with a ton of Squad Points to distribute, while ME2 had higher abilities costing more squad points with less to give out and them being drastically more effective as you leveled them. Personally, I'd like to see ME3 have a happy medium alongside the ability to max your character out. Give the player an even number of squad points for each level up, have each ability cost one point up until level 6/8/whatever other even number, except for the last one which costs two points and upgrades like it does in ME2.
- A higher level cap.
- The same Paragon/Charm, Renegade/Intimidate system, except make it more forgiving.
- The same weapon/thermal clip system but ME1's ammo upgrade system. I hated the fact that I had to use biotics to change my gun's ammo.
- Let me tackle the highest difficulty setting right from the start again.

*dusts off hands* That should do it.

I just want to make sure they don't listen to people who think ME1's ways were better. Keep the Mako gone, keep the story and missions tight, keep the inventory system as it is. ME1's inventory system was fun at first but quickly became a chore.

Don't, for the love of god, go backwards. Thanks.

Oh God, what have I started...

Play the game on Insanity... he takes much longer to kill so you hear those damn phrases hundreds of times.
The thing is to kill the Harbringer last, that way he has no one to respawn in ;D

OT:

NO MAKO, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO MAKO

Inf. needs some steriods.

Better moral system

Better charm/threaten system

I'd love to have a elcor on my squad. Not sure if he'd be able to help much, but still.

They could keep up the Bioware tradition of having a party member in the beginning of the game who dies almost as soon as he arrives and let that party member be Elcor. Then he could have one last dying speech. He could announce each sentence as a different stage of grief.

Splendid idea!
