Edit: I don't think it should actually have Marketting Shepard on it anyway. He doesn't really exist to a lot of players, so he doesn't really hold much weight.
Really? Because he's only on the box art of Mass Effect 1 and 2 and in every trailer. People know that face and know that it's Shepard, even if they chose not to use that face in their own game.
I didn't say people don't know who he is, just that some view him as a stranger due to all having their own version of him/her. I'm not usually one to moan about deafault Shep but I just feel, for some reason, that the final one should really go all out with the box art and, to me, posting a strange floating Shepard over Earth isn't all that dramatic. Hell, I don't even mind if default Shepard is used, as long as its good, it would probably just take a bit more for more to like it if he is used because of how alien he is to me.

Umm...

Mass Effect 3 is multiplatform. 360, PS3 and PC.

Having Kinect support would make no sense at all.
Somehow, I forgot that. You are, of course, completely right.

By the way, did everyone see that thingy on his arm? Doesn't look like an Omni-tool, is that one of the new melee additions?

Dear lord I hope it's fake.

Otherwise I may do the unthinkable and consider getting the game on the PS3. Which in my mind is only slightly better than just not getting the game at all.

Oh, don't worry, the PS3 version will surely implement move in some way. Just to piss you off.

Ugh. I keep forgetting that's a thing.

I'm now imagining trying to recreate through kinect, the romance scene between me and Ashley in Mass Effect 3.
What is coming to my mind is a bunch of airhumping in my living room in front of a screen. I can honestly say that doesn't appeal.

I really hope they are kidding. Mass Effect is a game meant to be played for hours at a time on your couch with some chips. Waving one's arms around in the air doesn't seem to be the kind of thing that would improve the experience.

Huh... bioware already commented that the game is harder... like ME3's normal was ME2's veteran setting. I wonder if it harder because of the clunky controls that'd come with kinetic support. LOL

But seriously, my take on the situation is, IF it's even true, it won't be combat related. It can't be. They'er talking about combat being FASTER, with swat turns and combat rolls, and the game being HARDER, you can't have faster and harder 3rd person shooter combat when the controler for the game is an out of shape 33 year old man in a tiny living room...

If anything, the kinetic support will prolly have something to do with, conversation stuff, maybe, i remember they saying in an intervew that adding gestures to conversations could be possible with kinetic, or maybe planet scanning or flying the ship or something. It won't be combat. And in that case, i don't really care that much. I play on the PC anyways, and whatever they have the kinetic doing, i'm sure it'll map to my keyboard easy enough. And with combat uneffected (hoepfully) it's a wash. Only thing that'd piss me off is if THIS was the reason for the delay... but, eh, what can you do.

I can imagine it would make biotics more interesting. Instead of clicking a button to toss a Cerberus agent into the air you get to flail your arms about and laugh maniacally... I think this could actually go somewhere...

This could be pretty cool for the biotic and tech skills. Think about it; you could literally throw people around using 'Throw' and stuff like that.
Don't see what the problem is, as long as the implementation doesn't detract from the story or core gameplay. Could be a fake, as well..

Kinect?
What's that?
It sounds like something that has been non-existent for the past six months...

This might actually end up being funny as hell.

I mean how are players gonna navigate the sex scenes? With the Kinect?!

*laughs at the mental image he just gave himself*

Dear god Bioware, really?

Just remember to anyone jumping to the Kinect's defense, it uses up the 360's ram, and will slow the game down. Frame rate issues are common place. Have fun with that.

I guess this is also what the whole "wider market comment" was talking about.
I'm guessing they're changing the conversation system for the 360 version, but it's up in the air for the moment.

Actually, I hope everything about that boxart is true.
1 - Melee Omni-Tool looks badass
2 - Beyond looking mildly badass, I really don't care about boxart even though this is pretty meh.
3 - Kinect/Move could indicate you can use all the holo screens/galaxy map/scanning with your hands minority report style. Which would be badass.

It looks fake though.

So long as I still have the established PC option of keyboard and mouse, I don't much care. In other words:
