Well here's how I normally run:
Kaiden eats the bomb just because I'm a gentleman and let ladies live.
I save the Rachni because if I kill them the game makes me feel like I killed a bunch of defenseless puppies.
I save the council just so they see humanity is willing to sacrifice itself for the galaxy (mostly because I think a human council would screw up the galaxy even more)
I leave Wrex alive, mostly because his stupid head still serves as a meat shield. A dumb meat shield but his skull is hard so...
Anderson just because he knocked off Udina in the first punch. WE NEED MORE LEADERS LIKE THIS!
Paragon... mostly... ok I ended up killing a few people that got me renegade points, but those bastards got what they deserved. I like to call it the "Punisher Paragon" way of doing things.

I've played through about 5 times now, and each time I've done something a little different.

- I usually save Kaiden because his character seems much more interesting to me than Ash's, but I saved her once to get the Paramour achievement and in order to see the sequel with her in it.
- I always save the Rachni unless I'm going full renegade.
- Again, I always save the council, even if I'm going renegade just because he can still give them lip at the end.
- I've kept Wrex alive in every playthrough. He amuses me to no end.
- Anderson always gets my vote. Udina's a bit of a bastard, while Anderson is awesomeness incarnate.
- In every playthrough but one, I've been paragon. And that one time as renegade was just to get the achievement/to see what happens in the next game as a renegade. I like the paragon game more, though.

Hopefully let Kaiden die since he annoyed me but didn't really care enough to remember.
Saved Rachni.
Saved Council.
Wrex didn't die.
I voted for Mary Sue.
Paragon.

FF with blue alien chick.

My character was basically a female Kirk.

Lets see I guess for my first playthrough I went
Saved Ashley even though in retrospect I didn't really care for the character.
Saved Rachni because I'm always the good guy my first playthrough before I turn into a megalomaniac.
Saved the Council again for the above reason.
Saved Wrex because he was awesome.
I voted for Anderson because I read the book and was an Anderson fanboy.
And of course Paragon.

Overall Paragon.
Strangely, I can't remember which love path I took on my first playthorugh. 'Cause I'm a playa.

I saved Kaiden (Ashley was ok at times ut otherwise she struck me as being the BNP in space)
BNP?
British Nationalist Party. Basically a really right-wing and rascist political group in Britain which isn't particularly big but get's quite a lot of press coverage because they're idiots.

I could never save Wrex no matter how hard I tried
You need to have a certain level of persuasion/intimidation or complete his personal quest for the suit of armor. Either of those will let you get off the beach without having to cap him.

Ah, Mass Effect... Such a beautifully epic ending...

First time I killed Ashley, because I wanted to finish the romance sub-plot. Second time it was Kaiden, because he's basically a useless bastard.

First time I killed them, second time I wanted to max out my paragon points to keep Wrex alive so I saved them.

Not the first time, because they're dicks; second time I decided I may as well.

The first time I killed him myself; the second time I kept him alive just because he can shoot.

Anderson. Anyone who chose Udina should be slapped.

First time I was mostly neutral. Second time I was a paragon.

Kaiden first, because he annoyed me. Seriously. What kind of a romance option is that?

Saved the Rachni, because I sympathi... Actually, I just wanted to stick it to the Council.

Saved the council, so I could gloat in their faces. (Didn't really get to do that...)

Kill Wrex?! Are you MAD?!

Anderson. Personally, I think "Kill Udina" should have been an option.

Renegade with enough Paragon points to charm the socks off someone.

No.
No.
Anderson.
Paragon.
Yea that's pretty accurate to my first playthrough.

But, I'm kinda surprised that the OP left out the decision between Ashley and Liara.

First Run

- Killed Ashley.
- Saved Wrex (best character ever).
- Chose Liara for romance.
- Spared the Rachni Queen.
- Sold the Cerberus data to the Shadow Broker.
- Let the Council die.
- Chose Anderson (because fuck Udina, that toady little bureaucrat).
- Got Amy Wong her scoop.
- Told Conrad Verner to fuck off.
- Convinced Saren to kill himself.
- Renegade.
