Grunt? Grunt!? GRUUUUUUUUUNT!!!!!!!!

Seriously, he was my tanker throughout most of Mas Effect 2, and then the bastard goes down to a single gut shot? He used to eat missiles and quaff laser beams! And if a Krogan super soldier isn't the best person to lead a squad through heavy fire, then I just don't know who is.

I didn't do the consort's quest in ME1. Since the consort's current state of affairs is something that's mentioned in ME2 (her reputation is effectively ruined in ME2 if you didn't help her in ME1) I wonder if I'll be missing out on something in ME3 now. After all, her influence is supposed to be pretty far reaching and, if you help her in ME1, she'll owe you a favour.

I just hope it isn't a particularly great favour, because I sure as hell won't be getting it.

I lost Mordin at the end of ME2. I don't really have many regrets in the series, but that is the biggest one. :(

I have no idea. It'll be pretty interesting going in, that's for sure.

Actually, in ME2 it says her reputation is ruined no matter what you do in 1. Pretty sure it's a bug, like how Conrad will always think you pulled a gun on him even if you didn't.

I've played through ME1&2 enough that I more or less know how to get the exact result I want all the time. That said, one thing that's happened in a lot of files (before I figured out how to not do it) was that I ended up auto-romancing some characters in ME1 (as in I romance Ashley, I ditch Ashley, and suddenly Liara's all over me).

In the past, I've made very few mistakes - I tend to completionist through, so I never really miss any of the choices. Some mistakes I've corrected are not giving Tali the data in ME1 (tiny, tiny thing), and that Grunt got shot in my first playthrough of ME2 (he's supposed to be the perfect KROGAN soldier, how can Miranda take a bullet to the gut and not him?)

Just things that I wasn't sure would or wouldn't bite me in the ass.

Saving or deleting the files from Kasumi's storyline
Brainwashing or killing off the heretic geth
Saving or destroying the Collector Base

The other is wishing I couldn't have left someone else behind and kept both Kaidan and Ashley. I mean, seriously, those two guards at the CIC would have been better used right in that cutscene.

Well, for me, it was the whole Virmire sacrifice debacle. My original playthrough I chose Ash and felt guilty the whole time, as she had a rather large family and sisters, and Kaiden was an only child, it would have been a better choice to pull him out instead, he was a more logical choice for surviving.

Then I met him in ME2. I know the speech he gave was intended as a canned gender neutral I won't join you but we had a good run speech, but OMG, if you're playing a broshep there were homoerotic undertones up the wazoo.

I just don't think Kaiden will be making any attempt to propagate his bloodline after the ME series, so my decision was a big fat failure. *facepalm*

Are we talking the e-mail she sends you or one of the radio broadcasts on the Citadel? It's been a while since I played but I recall getting an e-mail with a last bit of advice and a thank-you from her, but I also recall some kind of broadcast about her leaving the biz due to constant attacks on her reputation, my impression was that the general you talked down wasn't the only one she had problems with.

Killing Kaiden on Virmire...

I mean... I killed him because in Mass Effect 2, they open up a biotic program for children in his name. Regretting I killed him over Ash... but it made me feel better knowing his death did a lot elsewhere.

And I also regret doing the Renegade choice for Zaeed's mission.

Fuck Ashley, I should've let Kaiden live.

Also, I don't regret all the work I did to make sure Wrex lived. The dude's a goddamned tank and I love his jarhead of a character.
This. Except that I also got Wrex killed on my male account. Sad face.

Not really. I play by morals rather than to win.

That said, I have this sneaking suspicion that the Rachni are going to get their asses indoctrinated again, and be against me. I hope it doesn't happen, but I have a bad feeling that it will.

Saving the council. I mean fuck those guys I thought they would be a little more greatful for saving their asses.

Also I plan to use the Rachni to fight the Reapers so I'm either gonna destroy the Reapers at a scripted point or they'll turn on me and I'll loose a party member or something.

This. Somehow I feel this is going to come back to bite me in the ass harder than I expected, and I feel that I'm going to be unrightfully punished for it. Though, part of me would fucking love to see the Rachni come back either helping the Reapers or just still waging war against the Council.

To sum it up quickly, just because someone's a good warrior, does not make them a good leader/tactician.

My only regret is that I could not nuke both Ashley AND Kaidan.

Other than that, I am the boss; currying favor with Clan Urdnot, the Council, the Rachni, the Alliance, the Migrant Fleet, the Reprogrammed Geth, all my squadmates save the ghost of Kaidan, several shop stores on the citadel, and basically everyone but Cerberus (but they aren't invited to my Shepard after-party anyway).

The Normandy 2.0 is a bit on the empty side, but that's totally what ye scurvy dullards get for failing to repel borders!
All I really need is the Joker/EDI combo, and we're running at max efficiency. Dr. Chakwas can tag along, or we can dump her at a psych ward. Her choice.
Pretty much exactly this, and the fact that I didn't try hard enough to find a way to make sure that during the suicide mission, everyone lived. Except for Miranda and Jacob. I personally think that Bioware does this on purpose, that in Mass Effect, the human squadmates end up being the most unlikeable.

Oh, and that during that one Collector Ship mission, I chose the Revenant for my Soldiers new weapon, instead of the Widow. Because now that I have my beloved Mattock, I never use the Revenant anymore. The Widow would be much, much more useful.

Nope.

I managed to get things just how I wanted them on my first playthrough of each game.

I saved the Rachni, saved the Feros colonists too, helped out the Consort I think so I have that little medallion thing.

On Virmire Ashley shot Wrex, so I sent her with the Salarians, was going to save her but I stuck with Kaidan who was with the bomb. Not sure if Kirrahe survived.

I regret letting the council die though. That was a mistake, but oh well I was Paragon so you know.

Well everyone in the Suicide Mission survived for me in ME2. I blew up the Heretic Geth, couldn't afford to have them suddenly reach the same consensus on the Reapers. Tali isn't exiled from the Flotilla which is good. Grunt is not Urdnot Grunt so hopefully he will be fine. Also Mordin has the Genophage Cure in case we have to use it some day.

So generally mixed, things could go both ways.

i've got four or five ME2 files, 4 Paragon, and one Renegade.
On my renegade file i pretty much yelled, and insulted every major future allie except Wrex, and the Krogans, and the rachni (cause i wasn't able to talk to them) and the council is of course dead in that file. so ya my renegade shepard is gonna stand there and ask for help and then the entire galaxy is gonna tell him where he can shove it.

I am sad that Tali got killed in my canon run, but I was unwilling to restart the mission and lessen the emotional risk of the mission.
