Wires saw the slight movement as she checked her Omni-Tool. Sighing, he tapped a few on his own. "You really need to upgrade your firewalls Terina." tutted Wires. "But, whatever."

Wires drew his pistol and shot one bullet over his shoulder past John. "Don't be so rude human." he muttered.

"As for "circumventing the rules"", Wires tapped a few more buttons on his Omni-Tool.
"If even a drop so much as passes his lips while he is in this base, or, if he returns here drunk, throw him in a cell for a week."
"Sooo... not really circumventing is it. But, whatever."

"Hmmm... Afterlife has some rather fetching Asari girls... I think I'll stop by..." thought Wires.

"Wires, you're a disgusting little man," Santius said. "Just pick up your scraps and shut up before one of us decides to kill you."

"Wires, if you shoot in the direction of another company member again, you can forget about Lux, Raven or Verhal, I will kick the shit out of you" threatened Ocara slowly from behind Wires, the Turian almost shaking from the strain of stopping himself slitting Wires' throat right here. Ocara had a particular little pet-peeve with friendly fire and it practically liquefied his insides with rage when Wires proved once again that he was a non-thinking, negligent liability.

"Now, do what you need to do and get back to the ship" spat the Turian, as he turned and stalked off back to the ship, picking up a nice looking pistol from the body of one of the dead guards. The pistol wasn't particularly advanced or even better than his own, but it had newer systems than his and those systems would be put to good use on the Turian's weapons.

Though that wasn't the only thing Ocara picked up on his way out, for just as he exited the warehouse, he stepped back inside, as something had caught his eye, namely a large pile of red sand that had leaked out onto the floor from a busted crate. Reaching inside, Ocara grabbed a large bag of the narcotic and secured it under his arm.

Perhaps he could sell this on for a little extra money, or of course, this could be his new way of unwinding after having to deal with Wires.

"Ocara, might I recommend selling that on Illium? It's legal there if you know the right guy" whispered Wires. "I just so happen to know the right guy, and I'll tell you... for a price..." added Wires after a pause.

Wires walked over and patted down a nearby guard with his good arm.

"Haha! Look what we have here! A gun!" Wires said with a grin spread across his face.

"Now, what happens if I push this button... a proper sight! Nice! and this one... safety? feh..." muttered Wires like a child with a new toy.

Wires tucked the pistol into his belt loop.

"I'll add that sight to my pistol later, and use the wiring in this pistol to learn how to remove the safety on mine... hehehehehhehe..." thought Wires, with a slow grin spreading across his face.

I'm only taking a fraction of the armor plating dude, it is entirely possible that Wires wouldn't even notice it missing if he didn't see Dregger with it.

John stopped cold as Wires' shot sped past him. Don't kill him. Don't kill him. He though. You still have that other salamander to deal with. Stooping, he picked up a small piece of concrete floor that'd been dislodged when the YMIR had exploded.

Turning towards Wires, John threw the piece of rubble hard, striking him in the chest. "Pull shit like that again salamander, and I'll put you down. Your tin cans WON'T stop me." To emphasize his point, John pulled his rifle off his back, daring the salarian to try again.

@Ted John does remeber what Verhal said to him in regardes to racial slurs, he just dosen't care :)

"And after I was going to make a wonderful donation to the group from the legal sales of all that Red Sand... I think I'll keep it for myself..." muttered Wires...

"EREBUS!" shouted Wires, pointing at the Red Sand container, "IGNORE ALL SECURITY PROTOCOL, WARDOG MODE ACTIVE! PROTECT!"

"Do...NOT...touch my Red Sand..." growled Wires.

"Paladin, can you come back with your ship?" asked Wires politely. "I'll give you... 40% of all sales from this Red Sand. I'd say that all this sand would easily earn us at least 8000 creds each."

Wires started applying Medi-Gel to his injured arm. "I'll wait here and keep those dusters away."

And that tears it. Verahl will know that it's justified. Using Heavy Throw, he brutally launched Wires into the nearest wall before opening up on Erebus with his Shredder. While the small mech was armored, the sheer fusillade of rounds that connected with it tore it asunder like tissue paper. Stalking over to Wires, he flipped him over before strangling him with one arm and punching him in the face with the other. "You have no clue who you are dealing with do you selfish peace of shit. You don't just join Aegis and then treat your comrades like shit and put their lives in danger numerous times. You treat orders as suggestions from an idiot. All you have proven is that you are a liability that needs to be taken care off."

As Raven said his piece, he continued raining down blows until he felt the bones of Wires face begin to cave. Dragging him up by his neck, he broke Wires's already injured arm with a savage jerk and relieved him of his remaining weapon before throwing him once more, this time into the Gauntlet itself. "I'm going to enjoy these next few moments immensely if you care to know." Pulling his pistol, he took a half second to aim before shooting the Salarian in the base of the right knee, destroying any remaining chance he had to escape. Holstering his gun, he brought his boot down on the shredded remains of the knee to maximize the pain as much as possible not only because it was satisfying considering who he was doing it to but the other rookies needed to see that what they were dealing with wasn't a game. "Anything you want to add Lux?"

"Thank you, so much Raven" said Ocara from his front row seat on the (incredibly justified) brutality Raven inflicted upon the mouthy Salarian. If Ocara had been any less of a Turian, he would have joined in on the beating, but the Sniper knew better that to join in with the beating of an injured, unarmed opponent, no matter how insufferable that opponent was. However, Ocara wasn't above offering himself up as executioner.

"Requesting permission to put this scumbag out of its misery?" asked Ocara hopefully, indicating to the pistol he still held in his right hand. He knew it wasn't likely he'd be the one that pulled the trigger if they were, he'd have to join a waiting list for that.

Lux:

"Don't play with him Raven, just finish what you've started," Lux said as he walked over to them, with his Claymore drawn and held at his waist.

Wires was already in pain. Most of his bones were broken, he was bleeding from nearly every part of his body, but all of that was overshadowed by the destruction of Erebus. Wires howled in pain, and started sobbing uncontrollably.

"You bastard... you honourless, cocksucking, foolish bastard... I will kill you... I will recover... and I will kill you... I swear this on my fathers grave... you useless moronic brute of a Krogan!" screamed Wires, he pushed one button and sent a message to Paladin.

"Paladin... Miles... will do..." whispered Wires before he fainted.

The cybernetics are just replacements for the joint, and more of a durability upgrade, nothing stupid like "This one makes me invincible! hurr durr.

Dregger watched the scene rapidly devolve and shook his head. He slowly approached the unconscious Wires and carefully picked him up and brought him onto the ship. He came back out and looked a Raven with a look on his face like he had just broken a very important rule.

"I understand why you did that but you should have finished the job. Never do that to someone and leave them alive. He will want revenge after that, and he may be a Salarian, but that doesn't mean he isn't dangerous. You just made an enemy of him. I would suggest sleeping lightly when he recovers."

With that Dregger went back inside the ship and settled into his seat.

As John shouldered his rifle, his hands where still shaking with rage at what Wires had done. "Well fuck" he said, taking a deep breath in an attempt to slow his heart rate. "Here I was thinking I would've over stepped my bounds if I?d shot the skinny prick."

When he saw Dregger load the battered, and bleeding salarian aboard the Gauntlet, he shook his head. "Should've left the litte shit for the vorcha." He grumbled, turning about. He pulled a cigarillo out of his armour and lit it. Wandering back into the factory, away from the rest of Aegis, he sat down on a crate and removed his helmet.

Sitting there and smoking, John retrieved the old pistol he'd found, and expanded it. Taking a small nail he'd picked up off the floor, he carved the name 'Alexia' into the body of the pistol. After finishing, he let out a long sigh. "Soon sis, soon."

Terina watched the beating of Wires, showing nearly no emotion on her face. However, anyone looking at her carefully would have seen her eyes light up. She did enjoy violent retribution, and Wires had that beating coming. After Dregger went back to the Gauntlet, she walked up to Raven. "That was rather efficient beating, Raven. And you hurt him where it counts, his stupid mech. I must give you congratulations. Care to grab a drink back at the base after I get my wound looked at?"

Paladins omni-tool chirped, he stopped looking for musical shows in the area and checked his messages.

He chuckled and muttered to himself, "No" He thought to himself Idiot thinks he can be brought back from the dead. I've seen how this fool behaves himself, he must have finally done something stupid enough to get himself killed, I can't say I'm shocked, hell, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner.

He saw Dregger drag the Salarian onto the ship, he hadn't reached death, but he could see it from where he was lying. Paladin turned to Dregger, "So, what was the last straw?"

"Stupid fucker pretended he was gonna shoot John, then started to prepare his mech for a fight. Raven pounded the shit out of him, breaking one of my biggest rules: Never almost kill someone. Things will be much more tense from here on out."

Dregger then walked down to the armory deck and began inspecting his equipment. There were several scratches on his guns but they weren't a problem. /his armor however, was another story. After close inspection he saw that it had been more damaged than he thought. The Claymore had torn a chunk right off of it and had actually clipped his back. The mech scraps wouldn't be enough to fix it, he would have to get a new suit, but the scarps could still serve a purpose. For now though, he had to take care of his wound. He went back to where everyone was and said out loud,
"Hey! Someone help me apply some medi-gel!"

Santius sat, staring with a blank expression on his face. Even he would admit that the salarian had brought this upon himself. "Why don't we just put the little guy out of his misery?" he said.

Esten:

Esten watched as the rest of Aegis bickered around Wires's body. In his mind, something like this should have been finished by now. He approached as they continued to argue. The conversation was going in circles. They all knew what they wanted to do, but no one was willing to act on such intentions.

His hand hovered to his pistol as he drew closer. He looked down onto Wires, laying on the ramp of the Gauntlet. His arm was left limp at an unnatural angle. His knee was shattered, what little remained of it could easily be seen through the tears in his suit. Blood was trickling down from it and onto the incline, forming a small pool at the bottom. Finally, his face was hardly recognizable anymore. The bruises left by Lux could no longer by distinguish from the blows that Raven had caused.

"Why don't we just put the little guy out of his misery?"

Hardly a moment after Santius finished speaking, Esten had fired. The shot had stopped all conversation, as everyone turned and watched. As everyone stood silent, their gaze turned from Esten to Wires. In the centre of his head, a new hole had been left. Blood started flowing from it, as Wires's body let off a few final twitches.

Esten didn't remain to examine the body though. He knew what it would be like. He'd seen and done it many times before. There was no reason to be drawn to it anymore, to be entranced by the gory spectacle he created.

He stopped as he reached his seat on the Gauntlet, to unload the thermal clip from his pistol and replace it with a new one.

Must always be prepared.

Terina got on the Gauntlet and sat down, ignoring the body of Wires. He had learned the consequence of his actions, but he would never be able to change his ways. But that's what happens to those who don't work with a team, and who jeopardize the mission. Terina just hoped she'd be able to avoid jeopardizing anyone's lives.
