I feel abit stupid for asking this but could you put your previous OoC in a quote please? I'm writing on a Ps3 at the moment and so can't view spoiler tages
You wouldn't be awake before a Salarian. Their high metabolism leads to a low life span, but also low requirement for sleep. I believe they only need roughly an hour a day in order to function.
Basara came down the stairs, streching. He came extremely close to nailing Esten as he reached out with his arms. He yawned. "Man, I love sleeping in. I don't do it much, so it's like a treat." He grabbed a can of dried food, tossing it into the air as he leaned against a counter. "I probably sound like i'm going insane, don't I?" He laughed. "Please wait until I'm actually awake and aware before expecting lucidity. Thank you." He jammed his thumb into the top, piercing the metal easily. "Human can opener." Basara muttered as he picked out a dried pineapple slice. "Want some?" He asked.
Sal woke up and immediately groaned. Her head pounded like a Krogan just finished squeezing it. "Ohhh my head. Why is it so damned bright in here?" She said squinting at the lights on above her. She turned up the light sensors in her helmet to dim the her vision. "Ahh much better." She said standing up a slowly and leaving her room still holding her head. She walked into the kitchen and saw Verahl sitting at the table. Oh god I don't want to deal with his anger right now. Just keep your head down and don't make eye contact. She thought to herself taking a seat as far away from the others as she could, which wasen't very far.
Sal winced as it seemed like Santius had screamed the question into her ears. She quickly turned down her hearing receptors in her helmet as well. "No, frankly my head is killing me." she said wishing to just be left alone.
Raven walked into the kitchen pitching a cigarette butt into the trash. "It seems that our quarian is badly hungover." Seating himself in one of the chairs he spoke, "What's on the agenda for today bossman?"
"Fine, I'll repeat myself. We have to either lie low until we can find ourselves a new place, or find Mayli, which is looking all in all about impossible."
He took the glass Dray handed him and took a sip of tea. It tasted horrible. He put it back down on the table and grabbed a glass of water. He opened a small pill contained and placed a couple pills in his hand. He swallowed each with the water and sighed again.
"Cant be that difficult can it boss? Omega's big but there are plenty of people who know things and what if we put the word out? 'Interested party seeks backstabbing *****', I'm sure we got enough to pay a bounty" said Ocara as he stood from the stool and took a seat on a couch.
"While a Quarian is an easy target, we have no idea where she could even be on this lump of metal. We're still looking for one person in eight million with no leads other then she'll be wearing a haz. suit." Verahl paused to take in a deep breath. "Besides, bounty hunters aren't always the quickest at finding people."
Sal stood and walked out of the kitchen feeling her headache had subsided a little. I can't have a drink here the others will just bug me. She thought heading back to her room I saw a club on the way here, a club means people, people mean drinks. She grabbed a disk from her bag and left a message explaining her whereabouts.
I'll be at the Afterlife, A club not to far away. Radio me if I'm needed.
She set it on the table int the front room, in plain view to where every one could see it. She grabbed her pistol and took the elevator down, She walked out of the plaza and headed towards the club. It wasen't hard to find, it was biggest building for blocks. A few people looked at her like they always did but she ignored them.
After a few minutes she found herself in front of the club. A long line leading away from the door with a Elcor bouncer in front. Be hind him stood a Batarian with a clipboard. She approached him. "Listen Quarain, line starts back there." He said pointing with a pen.
"I know but maybe I can pay." She said pulling out a hand full of credits. The Batarian looked at the credits then at her.
"Alright, fine go on in." He said taking the creds. She thanked him and hurried inside. She sat down at the closest bar.
"The weakest Turin stuff ya got." She said putting down a few credits and the human bartender nodded. She drank it in one gulp. "Another." "Heh, heavy drinker for a Quarian ain't ya." He said power the drink. "You'll attract the eyes of Aria like that." He said chuckling. "Who?" Sal asked downing the second and motioned for another. "The mayor, ruler, Queen if your feeling dramatic, of Omega. Not a credit the enters the station that she doesn't know about." He replied. "Eh sound like another stuck up Asari ***** to me." She said downing the third drink as the bartender gaped at her. "Careful What you say about her!" He hissed "People have gotten killed for less than that!" He warned her, but to late.
Two Turians with assault rifles in their hands grabbed her by the arms. "Your coming with us." They told her as they began to drag her towards a stair case in the back of the club. "Wait!" She said pulling away and quickly grabbed the bottle from the bartender. She put more credits on the counter and downed the bottle. "Okay, now I'm *hic* ready." She said allowing them to drag her. Soon she was dropped in front of a Asari women, tattoos along her face, who sat on a couch and looked down at her.
Raven walked through the base bored out of his mind. Without the range of their previous base, he couldn't practice and it was too early for a drink. Spying something on the table, he walked over before picking up the hololog. Sal went to afterlife? Why the hell would she do that? That is one of the seediest and most dangerous clubs in Omega Jogging to his room, he grabbed his rifle before going to Ver.
Aria frowned and looked at the two guards dragging the Quarian in.
"A drunk... Really?"
She looked down to the Quarian that lay in front of her and sighed.
"You two bring just another one of this bars dozen drunks to me?"
One of the guards nervously took a step forward towards Aria before talking.
"She... She was speaking against you."
Aria's mood started to become fouler.
"Well then do what we do with the other disobedient booze hounds. Kick her out of here, throw her down a few levels while your at it. Honestly, do I have to hold you hand through this? Go. Both of you."
One of the guards grabbed Sal by the shoulder and lifted her up to her knees.
Sal snickered as the guards moved towards her "Hehe You really should look into to merc companies instead, at least they can think better than muscle bound thugs of the streets. and as long as they aren't a major company they tend to be cheaper." She couldn't help but hiccup. "Hey since your the 'Queen' of Omega maybe you could help me. I'd owe you one." she grinned behind the her mask like an idiot. She could hardly comprehend what she was saying, let alone to whom.
Ocara looked up from his prone position on the couch when he heard movement and saw Raven jogging over to Verhal assault rifle in hand.
"Bossman, Sal went to Afterlife on her own."
After hearing these words Ocara sat bolt upright and turned to face them.
"We gotta go after her! There's some bad shit that goes on in there" he said as he stood, checked his various close range weapons were in where in place and awaited a response from one of them.
Verahl rose slowly from his seat. He gave a long sigh. He sounded absolutely exhausted. He rubbed his forehead while doing so.
"If I find out this afternoon we're in deep with Aria, heads are going to start rolling," his eyes now snapped to attention, as if finally bringing himself into the moment. "Get the elevator. I'm gearing up."
Verahl walked to his room and returned shortly after. His armor was now on, and his weapons were strapped to his back.
"Let's move."
Aria:
Aria wasn't one to let an opportunity slip. She had no idea what the Quarian was going on about, but knew she'd be able to take advantage of her if she was trying to barter a deal.
"And what would some drunk Quarian be able to offer Omega's Ruler? A bottle of ryncol? A napkin with the letters 'IOU' written on it? Speak up Quarian."
Raven stood in the elevator, impatiently waiting for the elevator and willing it to move faster. "What's the plan of action Ver? I doubt Aria would appreciate us going in guns blazing to get Sal out of there." Please be alright Sal
The doors to the elevator opened and they got on. Ocara set it to go to the ground floor while Verahl gave a double take at Raven.
"Plan?" he paused for a moment. "Alright, well first, we go to the club. Next we find Sal. Then, in the end, we'll drag her back here."
His voice was very dry and sarcastic. He was practically snapping back at Raven. The elevator reached the lobby and they walked out towards the enterance.
"Heh anything tech wise you want. Anything from setting the clock on your Onmi-tool to hacking into a rivals personal terminal. I could do it. Of course any Quarian could, but how many are gonna get to owe you." She said swaying.
Raven ignored Ver's tone, knowing how stressed out the boss was with what they had been through. "Right man, Right" Sal this could not have come at a worse time then right now. Ver is on the verge of a breakdown from stress and Ocara and I are trying to hold things together as it is.
