Well a release date for the PS3 edition of the Mass Effect Trilogy has been pushed back to the 4th of December for Americans and to the 7th for us living in Europe. It's nice to finally have some news on it, I just expected it to come on or at least near N7 day.

Well I'm looking forward to bringing a Shepard from 1 all the way to 3. I'm sure there won't be too many differences between porting a character for 1-2-3 from 2-3, but I do love me some Mass Effect...

Now they can build up the disappointment over 3 games instead of just 2 ;D

Oh, wow. I didn't think the PS3 would ever get the first Mass Effect due to it being published by Microsoft. Weird. Well, congrats to the people who will be able to play it for the first time.

You know what? i've been anticipating this but i'm going to give it a miss, i played ME 1, played ME 2, i don't feel quite up to playing ME 3 in December, not sure why, i feel a bit melancholic about it, with the whirlwind of conversation about the ending before i couldn't help but piece it together so i know the jist of it already. Maybe in March when the price goes down a tad.

I'm actually excited for this, I only have a PS3, and can't play ME on my PC for nothing. My only concern is the way they distributed the DLCs, some versions will get more content than others, and the first one will only get 1 pack on the PS3?

Also want to build my Sheppard since the first one, and I really don't care about the ending, "is the journey that matters blablabla" =D.

Excellent! Now if only the primary gameplay was practically anything other than cover-based shooting, then I could manage to scrounge up a shit to give about the whole series.

Seriously though, I'd probably like Mass Effect quite a bit if it wasn't for that aspect getting in the way of everything else I could potentially enjoy about it. Though the dialogue options, which I get the impression as being the only other aspect of mechanical gameplay, got stale before the demo I played of ME2 was even finished.
