I'm not sure if this thread belongs here or in off-topic since it's about both games, movies and books.

We're all familiar with franchises that have been milked dry (looking at you Guitar Hero) that we simply have been fed up with. But are there any franchises you want more from? Be it games, movies, books or whatever, do you have something you want to see more of?

Personally I want to see more of Battle Royale. It was a good book, became a great movie (and a crappy sequel unfortunately) and an awesome manga. But I want more. I could see it become a great anime series, or a live-action series for that matter. Plus I think it could make for one of the greatest multiplayer games ever if done correctly.

The Warriors also deserves more. I haven't read the book, but the movie is a classic and the game from Rockstar was brilliant. I'm still hoping that Rockstar will make a sequel for it with multiplayer support, brawling online with your friends sounds like a smashing good time.

Though playing Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, I wouldn't say no to a full and fleshed out Noir game.

A true 2D successor to the Metroid franchise. The Prime games were excellent and they brought 3D to Metroid in style and then some. But after Metroidisaster M (which I'll pretend never existed), I need something better. Older Metroids better.

I'm absolutely itching for a Persona 5. Best series ever. 3 will always be my favourite. I'm really hoping for Atlus to release a Persona 5 for the ps3 at some point rather than re-release titles for the psp.

Rise of Nations 2 or Sins of A Solar Empire 2. Although Ironclad probably haven't had enough time to do so yet, with all the expansion packs they've been making since the game's release. A good campaign for SoaSE 2 would be a nice addition.

I'd love to see another Douglas Adams book, so I'm hoping against hope that he's Agrajag, and he'll come back again. As far as games and movies, they're a single story, and if they've done it right, they don't need to do it again. What I need more than anything is more sarcastic books to read. Well, a new Soldier of Fortune made by Raven would be nice as well.

Well I have this wierd opinion here. I don't see ArmA as the sequel of Operation Flashpoint. It feels.....different. Don't get me wrong, ArmA is my 2nd favorite game of all time, but there's just something about it.

Yes, definitely. I had heard the game's creator said he'd make it if any of the big three wanted to pay for it. Microsoft should have jumped right on that. They've been so desperate to get a foothold in asia.

Berserk. It would be nice if the manga finished before i was 40. It would also be nice if the anime continued or they put out a game or movie stateside. Anything that would raise awareness of it.

Farscape. They've been tossing around the idea of doing more episodes for years. Chop chop.

Man, I loved the original Battle Royale. So much so I hunted down the sequel immediately. And was hugely disappointed. So I share your pain, and I'd love to see a Battle Royale Redemption. As for the multiplayer game... eh... no. Highschool kids kill each other with steak knives and bowling balls? Could you see the public uproar over that? Probably better to avoid that controversy atm.
