My favorite scene from Star Wars is, without a doubt, the entire space battle during The Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi. I have watched that battle so may times that I have it nearly memorized, visually, in my head. Ever since I was little, the battles always excited me the most. I love seeing random people fighting for just a few seconds before it cuts to a ship blowing up, or another pilot, or...so much awesomeness. Gah...

My favorite line from Star Wars actually comes from that battle. "Cut to the left, I'll take the leader." Or basically ANYTHING Wedge says during that battle.

Favorite character though is Tenel Ka, hands down. I just wish the authors would do more with her. I miss her Jedi Academy days. Her cousins were shaping up to give her a run for her money, but then that book got cancelled and I never got a chance to get to know them.

Why do I love Star Wars? I saw the movies when I was four, back when they only aired on television once a year and the VHS tapes weren't out yet. I had no idea what I was watching, but I was enthralled. Battles in space! With space ships! FAST battles, not like Star Trek where it's just a beam of light. The next day, when I went to preschool, I took a giant roll of paper and drew the asteroid scene from Empire strikes back. My teacher, after I was finished, asked what I had drawn. I pointed to horribly drawn X-wings, Y-wings, and a disc shaped thing that was the Millennium Falcon and said, "Good guy ship." She then wrote that next to each one. I pointed to a Y-wing that had had it's engine blown off (like in A New Hope, during the trench run) and said, "Good guy ship exploding." I pointed to terribly drawn TIE fighters and said, "Bad guy ship." And she wrote that. I pointed to the TIE Fighter that had been hit by an asteroid and had sparks coming out of it and said, "Bad guy ship being hit by a comet." I believe I still have that giant roll of paper to this day.

If you can count the TV series, then this scene is the winner:

As far as the films go, then Yoda V Dooku, Darth Maul V Obi Wan and Qui Gon or any scene involving Clone badassery.
When star wars the clones wars was good
