MCM Expo May 2010 - Who's going?

First of all - yay me! My first ever thread -throws streamers-

On topic - it's this year's MCM Expo on Saturday 29th - Sunday 30th. That's this weekend.

I was wondering how many of my fellow Escapees are going to be in attendance? That's both you Brits and anyone crazy but awesome enough to come overseas.
Anyone cosplaying?

I'm going to be there, obviously. I'm going as a Templar. Keep an eye out for mye, guys!

And no I'm not cosplaying, couldn't get the costume together in time. Hopefully will for the one in October though.

It's my first Expo, too! XD I've been trying to get a cosplay together since last year when I was first invited to tag along, but it's still not finished XD I only just decided to go as a Templar yesterday, and have since been working on it for ages. The helmet's taking the most time, and is currently drying before I finally paint it -_-'
Should be worth it in the end though, right? XD

I'm going. It's my first time too and it should be fun. If I had time and wasnt lazy I would be cosplaying as Gaara. If I had a better physique I would also consider Laharl.

i'm going =D i went to the October one last time and i had a blast so i had to go again.

i sadly won't be cosplaying, i can't really think of who to cosplay as. ah well, i will be walking around with a free hugs sign, but that wont really make me stick out at a convention xD

Oh hells yes! I was going to cosplay as Harry Dresden from The Dresden Files (despite being a girl) but couldn't find the coat in time =[ But in October my friends and I are planning to go as everyone from Kingdom Hearts so should be awesome!

No, when I say Templar I mean 12th Century Templar Knight from Assassin's Creed XD

I'd love to go. I have a Haruhi Suzumiya costume that I got for a cartoons night a few months back but never actually got to wear.

Only problem is I absolutely won't be able to get time off of work to do so

I'll be cosplayed as a really lazy take on a pokemon trainer, my NES bag will probably be the most recogniseable thing about me.
