Midterm elections coincide with the release of the McDonald's McRib[footnote]This is obviously an attempt by McDonalds to distract urban youth from voting in their interests[/footnote]. Both are happening on November 2nd. The elections are...well... elections for Congress (Parliament-ish) and some other local stuff. The McRib is some sort of mechanically recovered pork patty with sugar sauce they call "BBQ". It's pretty much an item that revolves around being a marketing gimmick, it's the Birkin of fast food without the quality or saltwater crocodile skin.Tharwen said:Eh?
Please explain this alien concept to us strange foreigners.
lol yea, you can buy food priced too high and get taxed too much, or you can vote and have taxes raised no matter what. Double screw.Sneaklemming said:So you can have an unhealthy snack or vote? That seems like a bit of a bad deal. In Saudi Arabia you can vote, or pay no taxes.
You guys got screwed =P
You should take a few minutes to go get a tasty sammich.`Shoggoth2588 said:I don't vote and I've never once seen a McRib. I would love to try it though...I probably won't leave the house that day as I have catching up to do in Albion, New Vegas and, Sophia Lamb's Rapture
