ME2 Question (for those who have completed it )

I'm not 100% sure if that will save her but people only seem to die when you give em jobs. I have heard of people dying randomly but it seems to be rare.

I guess I'm the rare exception.
I had everyone's loyalty, and Mordin died in the final act. He was the only one to die, and I never gave him a job.
I did give Garrus a 'lead that group' job twice, so maybe that contributed.
I have no idea.

All I know, is that Mordin died, and he was the only one. What a wimp.

Mordin has a very high chance of death when everyones "holding the line" and your fighting the last boss. Just a screwball Bioware threw in. Simple to work around, bring him to the final boss fight.

Oh, and you did fine by having Garrus lead the squads.

-Vents - Tali/Legion
-Garrus squad leader (both times)
-Grunt take crew back
-Jack/Samara Biotic Bubble (anyone else can die doing it, but those two are fine
-Bring Mordin to final fight

Those options got me the perfect ending (with loyalty on everyone), hope it helps mate.

if you piss off miranda or jack (or tali and legion) then dont give them any major jobs, they will only die if you give them a job and they arent loyal. pretty much for the person going in the heating vent pick either tali or legion, pick garrus for the team leader at both points, pick samara or jack for the biotic field bit, pick any loyal member to escort team back to ship then pick your two most powerful memebrs who are loyal (in my case legion and grunt) and you should be just fine

Also, if you do Jack's mission first and side with her can you then go and do Miranda's and gain her loyalty as well? I've never tried that.

No, you need them both loyal for them to fight, the same with Tali and Legion.

there is a way to get her back on your side, you have to have really really high paragon or renagade points though.

No, you're pretty much boned. What this means is don't use miranda for ANYTHING during the suicide run. I had this problem and found a solution for my second play through. When this conflict occurs make sure you paragon/renegade bar is 80% full or more. Basically make sure either jack or miranda's loyalty mission isn't done until your bar is that high.

WROOOONG. I lost Miranda's loyality, never used her, and she died along with Grunt (I sent him to the second fireteam, thinking that his defensive abilities would be useful) even though I didn't take her on the last mission (I was an Adept, so I took Tali for her tech and Legion for tech + sniper rifle).

To win someone over, you must have a LOT of Renegade or Paragon points. For instance, I stopped the fight between Tali and Legion because I persuaded them into making an agreement, she made some non-critical data to Legion, so he could send at least little bit to his base. This way, they both remained loyal. Miranda could've been persuaded too, after the dispute, but unfortunately I made too many Renegade choices and not enough Paragon ones to make the option available.

Just a thought, is it possible to do every loyalty mission, and save the crew?

Like is it possible for me to do legions loyalty quest and then leave immediatly for the crew?

Yep.

But you get Legion after the IFF mission... and then if you go to another planet the Collectors raid the ship.

And you don't actually GO any where...

I saved getting legion last. Then it takes just about 1 mission for EDI to install the IFF, so head IMMEDIATELY to do Legion's loyalty mission. As soon as you are done doing it, the IFF should be installed.

Final Boss: Grunt/Jack
