ok, so before release date there was a some controversy over this charachter, I only know what I got from thread titles and such...

I pretty much knew who she was first time I saw her, but in the end it wasnt a big deal, I put her on the ship and just ignored her for the entire time because I didnt want to talk to her

and thats kind of my point....I mean why is she there? does she serve any purpose?...anyway thats leads to my second point

is she a romance option? like a "real" romance option or like a "kelly chambers" type deal? because I hear that she can be gay...and this bothers me because I hear that Kaiden can turn gay...but its becoming clear to me this isnt the case with ashley...which is disapointing because...I want femshep and ashly to get together

so in other words is she like an alternite gay option to trainor? (liara doesnt count) I mean at least I actully like trainor, and she actually has a role on the normandy

but its just feels less satisfying to have a relationship at the point in the series..rather than ones thats been going on since the start

also I hear if you say no to Allers she'll go on another ship..and die

Some dainty chick who runs a webshow on IGN. Yes, if that sounds like a major conflict of interest, that's because it is. Why she's there is anyone's guess, but she's so distracting that I can't bother even talking to her.

Actually my FemShep had no interest in Tali other than considering her a great and loyal friend.

Come to think of it, none of my MaleSheps really wanted her either. Tali and Kaiden (in ME 1 and 3) are the only two romance options I've never explored and I actually don't intend to. I haven't seen the apparently photoshopped pic they used for Tali's face and I don't really want to, to me it's her mystique that adds to her character.

When she takes her mask off on her homeworld and the camera angle conveniently changes to behind her.

I was starting to get pissed off at all the characters before the Rannoch mission. They just hit on me left, right and center. "So because I haven't seen Tali in a while, it immediately makes me gay, Kaidan?" Is what I said.

Anyway back on topic, she is like a war asset (pretty much pointless). I never let her on my ship because it was already too Jerseyfied (Vega actually turned out to be a good character imo).

I thought Allers was pretty boring, I wasnt expecting much in the first place but I dont blindly hate her simply because of her Voice Actress or how she looked.
I see the resemblance to Snooki, I dont give a shit.
She's voiced by Jessica Chobot, I still dont give a shit.
Shes just a rather bland character, her appearance and VA have nothing to do with it.

a bit more than five if you count the interviews, which give a small war asset boost to other war assets depending on how you answer (case in point: after the final rannoch mission, if you have both the quarian and geth fleets, and choose the deal with it answer, the alliance reluctantly provides the geth with thanix cannons)
