You wake up in a hospital. You can remember checking in, you can remember why, you can remember everything that happened up until last night when you fell asleep, but when you woke up things were different.
You're in a ward with two rows of other beds. Most of those beds are empty. Four of the others aren't. You remember every bed being full before you fell asleep, but they're empty now.
Whatever you checked in for hurts a lot. Not necessarily more than it did the previous evening, though not necessarily less; it hurts a lot. It feels like the affected body-part's inflating, like it's too big to fit in the amount of skin covering it. Like it's going to burst.
It's very dark. All the lights are off. The only source of light is the faint blue glow coming in through the windows. You can't tell if it's day or night. The light doesn't make it seem like either.
There are noises coming from the other areas of the hospital. Rustling, like animal footsteps, coming from upstairs. Moaning, like people in pain, coming from downstairs. You're scared.
You need to get out of the hospital.
You don't have much information to go on. You don't know what's going on in the hospital. Maybe you're interested in finding out. All you know for sure is that if you don't get out soon, things will go very badly for you.

You're in a hospital bed. Across the hall is another hospital bed. To your left and right are hospital beds. There look to be thirty hospital beds lining the corridor. Each bed is separated from the adjoining beds by a curtain. All the curtains are drawn back. There is a night-stand with a lamp on top of it beside every bed. Your night-stand is empty. Your lamp is not working.
At the far end of the hallway is a door leading to a flight of stairs. There are stairs leading up and stairs leading down. At the other end of the hallway is a door leading to an operating room. There are noises coming from the operating room. The medical tools in there may make it easier for you to escape. The thing making noises may make it much harder.
