you have a point, and I can forgive bad animation if the jokes make up for it. And they don't.
Edit: the mouth animation is still awful though

It seemed like it actually COULD be funny, but the "dogs" part is really pointless

Why not just have them humans?

Why isn't bugs bunny human?

because humour could be derived from his anthropomorphisation (Duck season, Rabbit Season gag, for example)

This, however, seems to be a human comedy with furries.

Still, it could be a funny comedy, I just don't see the need for dogs...at all

Off topic, Just watched some old Apocalypse lane videos and some reason I can pictures Cuddles saying the same thing you did and it just makes me laugh especially when I hear it in his voice.

Really? Is an anthropomorphized animal on the internet instantly a furry thing?
I can see how they would like it, seeing how they're furries and all, but is any anthropomorphized animal part of furry-fandom?

Shouldn't you all be out flaming old Disney movies and hating on young kids for watching them and recent stuff containing anthropomorphized animals?

And yes, fans of the furry subculture will probably like this cartoon, but so will fans of old retro cartoons or office based humor... or theater or cheese or beer or lint, hell, I hear some people have their own individual opinions, despite their social groups. But I'm sure that's just some crazy rumor a lonely heroin addict is spreading around.

When did it become so openly okay to hate people who like furries? And no, I don't mean these anthro cartoons, I mean the kinky as hell, fur affinity, holy crap what the hell are you wearing, furries. Are they the new gays now? Are we going to be trying to pass a bill for furries to marry each other soon? Seriously, I know the furry crowd is a bit... weird... but they're people like the rest of us.

Hell, it's not like they ever did anything to deserve such prejudice hatred. They're no worse then anime. Hell, anime deserves that kind of persecution far more then furries (don't get me wrong, I like some anime, but mainly anime that breaks from the norm, like, FLCL or Dead Leaves) Anime single-handedly damaged the animation world for my generation, more then flash and 3D animation combined!

...well, that's all outta my system. Try not to take me seriously, it's just a forum after all. I just wanted a moment to vent, like everyone else.

I have no problem with them being animals, but...c'mon, guys, picking any other animal would have bypassed the whole furry issue, that MUST have entered your minds at some point during brainstorming.

Two issues:

1) What other animal would you suggest?
- If they used cats, people would be screaming

What other animal would you recommend? Badgers? Hamsters? Foxes? Rats? Unicorns? Sloths? Lions? Tigers? Bears? (Oh my)

2) Picking any other animal would not have "bypassed the whole furry issue"

EVERY animal is fair game for furries, it's whatever they feel more comfortable with. I've seen furry costumes of each of the animals I listed, including unicorns. A old friend of mine used to do commission art pieces of people's animal alts when she needed the money, and she told me this one guy said his animal alt was a hermaphroditic beaver. No animal is sacrosanct for Furries, it's their deal.

It's just the denizens of the internet who have decided that anthropomorphic animals OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER was "gay Furry shit".

Try to add some constructive fucking criticism instead of just pointing out what you think are issues.

And that goes for all of you; everyone who has and will make disparaging comments about the form or content about this series, try to make a suggestion of what to change that you may think will make it better, instead of just slobbering over your keyboard about how you don't like it.

I don't get why people are making such a big deal about animals. I don't really care about that, I mainly care that it just isn't funny. At all.

Beyond that, it just doesn't have a single redeeming quality. It isn't funny. It isn't really new. It isn't fresh.

It's just generic and not even a decent generic.

Of course I'm sure the people that made this probably still have their heads high in the air because of course anyone that doesn't like it just doesn't get it or they're hating it because they're dogs.

Ah.... I.... um....

You know, its not even worth arguing with people anymore, this is just ridiculous. The escapist has a history of people angrily wandering about spouting "I don't like change! Its scary and disconcerting!" whenever it comes to a new show. And yet, nearly ALL of those shows have garnered a fanbase! Rebecca Mayes Muses, Apocalypse Lane, Unskippable, Unforgotten Realms! Hell, everything that isnt effing YAHTZEE!

So i just say to hold on, and this show too, shall eventually find its fanbase. Especially when haters lose interest in trashing it and go back to whatever the heck they were doing before.

Till then, I withhold judgement.

the thing is it ius isn't change, it's a poor excuse for using cold and wasted ideas that were funny once, but have become stale
