Megaman would just be another Samus rip off.

If his attacks were the boss powerups fromt he original 6 games thsn probably not.

If its megaman volnutt and he has the arm attackments as the weapons (like tatsunoko vs Capcom) then that would ahve been cooler.

Smash Brothers isn't about honoring "Videogame Legends", its about honoring "Nintendo Franchises". I always saw Sonic's inclusion in the series as one final teabagging to Sega... just to say "Your star mascot is a background extra to the Ice Climbers".

Snake is just Konami trying to squeeze another buck out of their most profitable character, so of course it makes money sense. Not like Snake was gonna pop up on the Wii anytime soon anyway.

Then perhaps Capcom should have pushed to have Mega Man in the roster for the same reason that Snake is currently there. Plus: Mega Man, being a long standing Nintendo system icon, would be much more well received.

I would love to see Megaman in SSB, hopefully he'll be in Smash bros. 4?

I would also love to see Lyn (fire emblem) or Hector (same game) as playable.

Considering how much Samus sucks in SSBB, I wouldn't have much hope of Mega Man being a good character anyway.
