That's why I'd say 98% of people go to see it...the problem is, that's not what they get because the giant robots take backstage to such things as slapstick comedy involving dogs humping, Shia's mom getting "high" his roomates trying to do...something, Megan Fox's boobs, Megan Fox not being able to say she loves Shia, random hackers that don't actually add anything, and all the other various plots/scenes dedicated to the human characters. Bay is good at explosions and huge giant action scenes...the thing is, when he finally gets a movie that is a perfect medium for those things, he shy's away from them. If the last 30 minutes of transformers 2 was dedicated to Optimus fighting the fallen/megatron it wouldn't get nearly as much hate. The reason I always say the first one is better then the second is because if you sit through all the crap you're at least treated to a pretty decent fight scene at the end...the 2nd is like 30 seconds of Optimus tearing through the fallen, lazily bitchslapping megatron and people running from explosions. If there were more scenes like the fight in the forest then it'd be worth it to put up with the shitty attempts at comedy.StarStruckStrumpets said:While this is good news...I wonder, am I the only one on this website who just watches these movies to see giant robots beating the mechanical shit out of each other? And yes Hubilub, before you start, I know, I'm never the only one.![]()
