Men of War: Assault Squad Open Beta

People of the Escapist! Today an opportunity has been tossed into your lap. A chance for glory. Victory will be yours, if only you accept it.

As some of you may know, Men of War is the most realistic and entertaining RTS/RTT game in existence. The beta for the expansion, Men of War: Assault Squad, is currently ending. But the developers have issued a challenge: If ~7,500 more Steam users join the MoW: AS Steam group, the beta will return, and with more content.

This is our challenge. I call upon every one of you who has a Steam account to join this group. Even if you don't give a shit about Men of War, join this group. You will have our thanks, and be able to reap the rewards yourself. We need your help. Please take the seconds to join. Especially if you aren't aware of Men of War- it is an amazing game and I guarantee you will like it. The Assault Squad open beta is still going, so you still have a chance to check it out.

"Our Steam group is one of the largest official game groups available and we'd like to see it continue to grow. That said, if our steam group reaches the 20,000 member count, we'll reactivate the open beta and add the Soviet Union as a playable faction as appropriate thanks."

Yeah I don't like RTS or RTT games, so no. I do have a friend who does though, so I'll mention this to him.

It's too complicated for most of my friends, but it's definitely one of the best RTS out there, and hell, its free.
