Mild synaesthesia.

Most common disorder out there, & thankfully the least life-affecting. As in, absolutely no negative effect on one's life. One in three people, apparently.
Each letter in the alphabet has its own colour & gender to me, as does each day of the week.
Come to think of it, it's a disorder in the same way red hair is a disorder.
My sister's like that, although I think she only has colors for letters/numbers, not genders. If I remember right, e and 7 are both green. I think numbers/letters being associated with colors is one of, if not the most common kind, but for those playing along at home, it can involve "crossed wires" between pretty much any combination of senses, although some are fairly unusual. Kind of funny, because she ended up with that one thing, and I got pretty much everything else weird that can happen. Oh well.

Also, I have no idea what's going on in your avatar, but I think I want one.

I'm perfectly fine. Although a few people thought I had ADD when I was younger, because I was so hyper and active, bouncing around everywhere. My parents just told them ''shes like that normally.''
that's ADHD

attention deficit HYPERACTIVE disorder
There used to be two IIRC.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attention-deficit_hyperactivity_disorder

The previously used term ADD expired with the most recent revision of the DSM. Consequently, ADHD is the current nomenclature used to describe the disorder as one distinct disorder which can manifest itself as being a primary deficit resulting in hyperactivity/impulsivity (ADHD, predominately hyperactive-impulsive type) or inattention (ADHD predominately inattentive type) or both (ADHD combined type).
:)
so in english it says that ADD has been replaced by the term ADHD altogether.
but instead of insisting you have a hyperactive disorder, you can have either inattention or hyperactivity or even both.

right?

I don't have any although I was tested for Ausbergers. They even thought I had ADD for a while.

real or self-diagnosed?
schizophrenia, but that one's on purpose.
How do you purposely have schizophrenia? My mind is boggled.
i talk to myself in private/public, but i'm conscious of it and probably happened because i need someone to talk to all the time, so i ended up talking to myself when others aren't around. it gets weird when i start contradicting myself.
That's not schizophrenia. Do you hear voices that don't exist (and by that, I mean do you actually HEAR things, not talk to yourself in your head, but hear voices where there's absolutely no difference between hearing someone speak, and hearing the voice)? Do you see things that don't exist? Do you have delusions such as people trying to poison you, or invading your mind? If you answered no, then you don't have schizophrenia.

I talk to myself too, doesn't mean I'm schizophrenic.

It's my hallucinations that are symptoms of it.

Bipolar disorder. Rapid cycling type. Right now I'm depressed, but, hey, give me a minute and I'll be manic.

Was properly diagnosed by doctors. It sucks. Sick ALL the friggin' time. I'll just ride it out and hope they invent the perfect drug for me soon...

like i said, yes, yes, yes and to the last one no.
but like i said,i make them up myself, since i have a great imagination and can actually see and create whole scenarios with imaginary creatures in my mind, though sometimes they run out of control.

at a certain point i was more lost in this world with very little control over the characters i had in there than in the real world, but i'm mostly over it..or have accepted that i did this to myself for absolutely no reason whatsoever than complete boredom.

I've got nothing (at least, nothing diagnosed), not even any allergies. I feel left out... On the other hand I'm glad I haven't got any labels. Huzzah.

Besides Asperger's Syndrome, nothing diagnosed. I may have some other mental problems like an ounce of paranoia and a bit of depression, but nothing diagnosed.

I'm Bi-Polar, wish I was diagnosed a lot sooner, have spent the majority of my 20's having my life wrecked. I manage my condition with diet and exercise and CBT, trying to stay off meds as long as possible as I don't want to be robbed of my creativity.

I have a touch of OCD too. More of a quirk really.

and I have Seasonal Affective Disorder. (But who doesn't)

You didn't state before that you actually hear and see things, you just said you talk to yourself. Okay, so you create your own hallucinations because you have a good imagination - that's not schizophrenia. I have known schizophrenics, I currently reside with schizophrenics (as said in my first post of the thread at the beginning of page 3 - currently in a mental institution), and if what you've said is accurate, then you, madam, are no schizophrenic.

I always found it pretty ironic that both Social Anxiety disorder and Seasonal Affectance? Disorder both spelt out SAD

Ahem,

Well over half of the people on this thread have fuck-all wrong with them.

As for Asperger's since it is the most common one written on the thread, I know someone in real life with it. It is not a fucking disorder. It is normal variation in the structure of the brain. You know what a disorder is? AUTISM. NON-VERBAL AUTISM. A disorder better be impeding in your life fo reals and no excuse-making either. We're all fucked up, deal with it.

And my dog is dreaming.

Everyone tells me I always look miserable, but I'm not.

No mental condition of any kind that you'd call out of the ordinary though.

I must say I take many of the posts here with heavy doses of salt - either a lot of you are lying, or this website attracts large amounts of those with rare mental conditions, (the number of self-proclaimed asexuals for instance rather surprises me) as well as all the common depression stuff.

So you don't really have it, but you make yourself have it even though you don't have it? Pfah, whatever. Anything else I say will be reiteration - reiteration which would cause an argument, at that.

Acrophobia is the fear of heights. Many people mistakenly say it's vertigo, but vertigo is a feeling of dizziness when at a height.

I'm not diagnosed with any mental health issues, but I do have SPS, a type of epilepsy where I can have a seizure while remaining conscious and without having motor issues. What triggers it, when its happening, and how it will mess with my head, nobody knows. *waggles fingers mysteriously*
I'll see your simple partials and raise you TLE with complex partials. No motor stuff for me, either, but plenty of other weird crap (like the time I didn't have a lap for a couple minutes...I could look down and see it, and my laptop was sitting on it, but my brain was convinced my knees were attached to my hips). It's particularly fun to have one while walking down the street and regain consciousness on the subway (conveniently heading towards home). Luckily they make pills for that, so it hasn't really been an issue for a while.

I have some other (officially diagnosed) crap going on, most of which wasn't too bad until after the head injury that caused the seizures to start, but unless anyone's terribly curious, I'll leave that mostly on the info/support forum I help run and keep this place for talking about games. Heh.
I've been debating whether to try medication for this stuff or not. I mean, its inconvenient for me to randomly freak out, but typically I am able to think rationally even if I feel so peculiar and excuse myself if I need to.
I mean, it can get in the way, but I hear the pills available have harsh side effects. How are they with you?
