My sister's like that, although I think she only has colors for letters/numbers, not genders. If I remember right, e and 7 are both green. I think numbers/letters being associated with colors is one of, if not the most common kind, but for those playing along at home, it can involve "crossed wires" between pretty much any combination of senses, although some are fairly unusual. Most common disorder out there, & thankfully the least life-affecting. As in, absolutely no negative effect on one's life. One in three people, apparently.
Each letter in the alphabet has its own colour & gender to me, as does each day of the week.
Come to think of it, it's a disorder in the same way red hair is a disorder.
