I once had a dream where I was living in a country with no free-healthcare.

Thank God I woke up.
I once had a dream where people hyphenate words for no reason.

I usually keep a dream diary at my beside. More often than not, I find that I've written down things on it and have no recollection of doing so.

One of the more creepy things I wrote was 'THE BLOOD OF MAN WHO SEEKS HIS IMAGE', in all caps. I'm guessing I had quite the fucked-up dream that time.
That's some Lovecraft shit, man.
OT:Lots of my dreams lately have mostly me saying sorry to people I routinely encounter. Though when I was a kid I remember having darker dreams, and legit mind fucks. I once had a dream where I was watching horrible torturer but could close my eyes. In another I was taken hostage by the villains from Power Rangers who escaped in my parents old minivan. The 90's is the only reason a dream like that could exist.

Climbing up a block tower that was collapsing.

Considering I had been playing Catherine that night, I was UTTERLY BRICKING MYSELF. I actually did fall, but I fell through some sort of power orb, kitting me out in a Varia suit, where I could just Screw Attack the momentum out so the fall didn't kill me.

Fanboyism of Metroid saved me.

Also, I had another gaming related dream.

A hybrid of Tetris, Bejeweled Twist and Sudoku.

My brain still strains when I try to understand the rules of it. It's seriously like the puzzle version of looking at an Eldritch Horror. Your brain just does not WANT to understand it.

I've had several, possibly uncountable dreams about dying in tornadoes, probably because that's something i'm afraid of.

I remember going to sleep while whiskey drunk once, and I dreamed something so weird I was still laughing while I tweeted about it.

Basically, I dreamt I was following a man walking down a street in a 3rd person over-the-shoulder type view (much like in fallout 3), he was having a monologue which I can't remember now, but at one point the man shouted in the middle of the street to everyone who was there: "I'M A FURRY!" and he keeps walking.
People around him look at him, laugh at him, tell him he needs professional help (even make animal noises to mock him). The guy doesn't care, he just keeps on walking. You know that drawn, animated 'haters gonna hate' GIF imagine? Like that.
Then all of a sudden we go to my own backyard, and it switches back to 1st person mode, and I get to watch all those people mocking me, as if I just yelled that I was a furry.
I flip all those people the bird, and then I wake up.

What did I win?

I'm not a furry btw

I've had quite a few bizarre dreams. Once i dreamt I was being pursued by someone, I was runing away with a friend, we were in an underground parking lot, when we reached our car we couldn't open it because my friend had lost the keys in the car's gas tank... Make of that what you will.
In another dream I had, I was alone, walking in the hallways of my school, and there were millions of mice everywhere. But the really creepy thing was that there were some bigger mice composed of several smaller mice.
In yet another dream, nightmare rather, one of my brothers fell down a flight of stairs. As he laid motionless, my family and I were panicking and crying around him while Radiohead's "Pop is Dead" played in the background.

Usually, I don't remember my dreams, only bits and pieces. Often, I dream about being in school or on holiday, which is kinda weird.

Then there are the really unnerving dreams that I can't help but remember, like the one where I'm in the auditorium of my old school watching some stage version of Psycho...

Here's another really messed-up dream: I'm in the TV room (back before my house had renovations) when the TV starts showing words in the [Adult Swim] bumper style, only I think it might be a cry for help, then the screen fills with words (or are they eyes?) before showing what look like Smurfs, but the faces are all wrong... and then I wake up.

Meh. Dreams don't really mean anything(I generally accept the theory that it's just parts of your brain dicking around while other parts are asleep) and everyone's had a weird dream now and then.

I once had a dream where I was at the beach with some friends, and if I didn't feed a spider-who was normal-sized and in a shoebox- a starburst every hour, something bad was going to happen. I wish I could remember what the hell kind of context that was in.

You guys remember the Calvin and Hobbes strip where Calvin dreams about getting ready for school and then wakes up? That happened to me once.

Just last night, after a poor night dealing with a friend that I really, deeply care about who is going through some confusion...

I dreamed of getting beaten by her, and at the end of it, she pulled a tiny knife out and slowly cut my throat while looking me in the eyes...

Your dreams don't mean you're fucked up, buddy...

They probably just mean you want to see a rule 63'd Joker.

What I am about to post is the only post I ever made in my dream diary :p It's lengthy, but probabaly the one I best remembered, which being said makes it no easier to understand out of context. Even now, as I re-read this, I can't remember much of the context.

Walking through a strange forest with really weird bugs on the trees that look like Scorpions. For some reason, I thought they were dangerous and shot them with a machine gun(?) I couldn?t actually see the gun, just the muzzle flash and exploding insect guts (blue), kind of like having Blind skull on. I get into the forest and find a wide corridor, approximately 3 meters wide filled with literally a soft green carpet of grass. There are two men in front of me.

Weird transition, don?t remember leaving the forest. This dream is really fuzzy, I climb down from an embankment over some barrels (I notice everything seems slightly blue, as if I?m watching through a blue tinted camera). Below, I watch a bald man get killed by another man with a big pistol (Colt .45 or Desert Eagle). A firefight breaks out and I fire back. I grab a girl held prisoner and we run away.

Must be a new transition, but memories of the last scene are very fuzzy. This definitely seemed like the longest dream, with a series of linked ?sets? with recurring characters. We are sitting on a bench outside an old building, possibly wooden. It?s really big, like a boarding house or a church. My parents (actually, only my mum) are wandering around in front of me, perhaps 2-3 meters away. The girl rescued from the previous dream is sitting next to me. I turn to her. She has short, neck length, light-brown to tinted blonde hair. I can?t remember her face. She smiles, and we lean closer and kiss. It feels very warm and slightly damp, but it feels very good.

There is a vague transition that doesn?t seem obvious to a new set on the beach. We are sitting around a picnic bench at the beach. I am sitting on one side, with someone sitting in between me and the girl, with another person directly opposite her. My mum is still here, but hovering around the edges of the dream. The girl and the person opposite are talking loudly(?) but in words that can?t be understood. They are laughing and smiling, and I feel slightly jealous or worried that they?re talking about me.

There is another small transition and the girl and I are walking on the water?s edge of the beach. The sand doesn?t feel rough underfoot like real sand, but it does appear to give way when you step on it. We are talking softly, but the words seem distant and unintelligible. We sit down (watching in 3rd person now?) and look out over the water in silence. She leans closer to me, and is resting on my arm.

This is a false awakening. I dream that I have woken in my bed because my dogs outside are crying outside because they are locked up. I get up to let them out. I get outside and let them out, both of the dogs rushing out of the door as quickly as possible. I watch for a little while as the black female dog runs across the lawn squatting and peeing several times, after which the male dog pees in the exact same spot covering her scent. I don?t remember going back to bed but I fall asleep again or transition to the next dream.

It transitions to a new set with new characters. I am driving a blue Hyundai I30, with my brother in the front passenger seat at night, but it is brightly lit with streetlights. The town?s roads vaguely resemble my own, but the architecture and specific design are all different. I pull into a driveway next to a building that appears to be under construction, as the wooden frames are still apparent. I try to park in the left hand park, but I overshoot and park awkwardly to the side, but still in the park. My brother doesn?t leave. Somehow, this sequence repeats itself, and I pull into the driveway again. This time I choose to park on the right side. I am indecisive as to which park I choose and overshoot several. When I do attempt to park, it is at an angle with the car still within the lines. This time, my brother says something and gets out of the car. I wait several moments and get out of the car as well, and walk off to the left of the car. I wander down a slight embankment, which is grassy, but also slightly muddy, as if it just rained or is near a creek. Then, it switches into third person, and I am watching somebody frantically run across the grass from right to left. There is a bridge across a small creek, but the man chooses to splash through the water instead. On the other side, a beautiful woman in a dark dress is being attacked by a person in a white dress(?) with a gold mask that appears to have jewels encrusted on it. The man climbs out of the creek and rushes forward, throwing the woman to the side and taking his own blade and strikes the assailant. Blood splashes in front of their helmet before they drop to the ground. The man says ?Good, that was close? and turns back to the woman. Then, another assailant leaps out of dark shadows, dressed in the same manner as the first and slices off the right arm of the woman. She screams in pain and raises her other arm in defence, but it too is slice off. The attacker then jams a blade into her chest and throws her back into the arms of the man, blood spurting from the injury, indicating a blow to the heart. Someone else (Maybe me) says ?Well, that?s a spoiler.?

Then I wake up.

Had a dream once where two guys were hunting down my entire family, and I managed to catch one and tried to throttle him but he just... wouldn't... die! Then the other guy showed up behind me while the guy I was strangling patronized me for not being able to strangle him, pulled out a gun and fired, but the bullet missed me and hit the first guy, who still wouldn't die!

This morning. It was my 19th birthday in my dream.

Everything we've reserved went to shit. Worst birthday ever. Couldn't go out to drink because all pubs and clubs were closed.

I dreamt that my hometown was on the back of a giant white whale, flying in the emptiness of space. There was a carnival going on, but I had a dire task; me and three my little ponies were supposed to ritualistically murder Fluttershy with four bone spears in order to create a new Princess Celestia.

I played along, but when the time came I rebelled, killing the ponies and saving Fluttershy. However, it turned out they were on the right cause, as now no one could die, but not sleep either. Eternal insomnia threatening to drive the town into hellish madness, I descended down to the whales belly and struck it with a pickaxe. I dug out a piece of its flesh, weightless and squirming like a visceroid, and ate it to gain its cosmic properties.

The whale flesh transported me back in time, to few days before my fatal mistake. There wasn't much to do yet, so I spent my time composing music until I woke up.

Here's one I had recently: I'm at a restaurant eating a slice of pizza and drinking a blue liquid that tastes like lemon juice. I proceed out the door when I am finished to reveal a lush junglescape. I walk on to see my school from grade 7. in the school I see my friend Morgan Crome, up against a wall, dead and by the looks of it, crying blood. he had this look of despair on his face. I soon see my friend Cole Norris come out of the office. He than says "YOU KILLED HIM YOU BASTARD!" and draws a 9mm pistol and shoots me. Apparently I killed Morgan. Also, this was one of those dreams where i'm invincible. because I got back up, grabbed Cole's head, and snapped his neck. Next, I'm in the washroom at my dad's house, washing my hands. A man walks in and begins repeating the word "nerd" over and over again in a taunting voice. I draw a gun and kill him. A woman who looks only 18 years old takes his place, not saying anything. I push the woman out of the way and proceed towards a wooden bridge. Soon I am walking down the street towards my house. When I arrive, the house is a mess. it looks as if it has been bombed and there are shell casings strewn everywhere. My mother appears, covered in sweat and ash, wearing a torn white t-shirt and grey khakis, carrying what appears to be an M16. I ask what happened. She says "Hitler had rallied his army, and they attacked this place. And I killed all of them to keep you safe." An image flashes before my eyes of people dressed in Nazi uniforms. Except these aren't nazis. It's my older brother and childhood rival, Rhodri, leading a large crowd of people I hate: bullies from my childhood, douchey fratboys from my current era of life and even One freakin' direction, all dressed in nazi outfits and carrying guns. In the background, a wall with the words "Kieran must die" and "Down with Kieran" are seen written in blood. "what were the Nazis doing here?" I asked. my mom simply said "They're coming for you, Kieran. you must hide." I run up stairs. I see my Mom, joined my my father and John Lennon, both childhood heroes, as gunshots and yelling fill the air. I see someone trying to kick down a window, and soon I'm running like hell. Next, I awake in my bed, walk to mom's room and see that nothing really happened. However, before the dream ends, I hear a voice say "This is not your mother." the end. Could someone please tell me what this means?

I had a dream last night that every time I gave a my little pony toy to someone they would die in a weird accident. I was also trying to do some sort of exam coursework at the same time. Also my dead Dad was alive and was driving me around places and Tony Stark was there and I thought what an awesome dad Tony Stark would be.

It was a very odd dream.
