Oh my I can't wait for the bitching from Indigo Dingo. Also I think it's pretty cool for franchises to branch out to other consoles. I believe that if there were no more console exclusives console fanboys would slowly disappear. Now that's just a massive hope but I think it has merit.

Yeah, he must be ill if hes not been on here nut hugging Sony yet. Im a 360 owner but haven't enjoyed a MGS game since the first one. Its just so pretentious with its over kill of cut scenes and WTF plots.

Its just another franchise for me not to buy. I'll save my money.

MGS has appeared on PC, Gameboy, Gamecube and Xbox before. It's never really been a Sony franchise.

The Minority Report stuff is way more interesting.

I don't know if it's exclusive or not, but this isn't that big of a deal to me. Nor do I think it's a big deal to a lot of non-fanboys.

Sony fanboys cling to their "exclusive" franchises much the way Nintendo fanboys did back in the day.

Ahh but the Rose in MGS2 was just an AI, remember? I can't remember much about her from MGS4 apart from the fact that she was supposedly shagging the colonel but actually wasn't... or something.

She was still a character, and in my opinion 300000% more annoying that Raiden. Why they bothered with a female character for MGS2 baffles me. They already have a lady-boy lead character, isn't that enough?

I don't care much for the Metal Gear series, but I'm glad to have something to rub in the faces of my PS3-having Sony supporting friends. Not that I hate Sony or the PS3, but Microsoft is better.

Yes but I do have a PS3 but not 360 its because I don't like being milked for money

At the end of the trailer there was no Sony or PS3 logo, so it might be an Xbox exclusive.

I think its more the fact that why would microsoft advertise sony in any way during their conference?

I think its good that its going multiplatform, whats the point making a game that only a few people can enjoy?

And this may cheer up the fanboys 1. Its Raiden 2. The sony conference is 2 hours long, for all we know they could get a game off microsoft (although i cannot think what that would be).

I'm just happy that Hideo is producing more MGS games. I bought a PS3 for MGS4, and i'll guess i'll buy a 360 for MGS Rising. I really couldn't care less about the platform tbh.

Anyways, it isn't that much of a loss. It can't be as good graphics wise and the story is gonna either lack the great cinematics or be too short because of the Xbox disc's copacity. Or it will *Gasp* be on multiple discs!

But it will have RAIDEN! WHAT THE FUCK I WANTED THAT GAME ON THE PS3!!! They should at least make it multi-plat.
