Don?t blame me if this game review is late because I have been busy and never had time to play this game, because of the stupid console war going on so just let me get this off my chest before getting started forget PS3, XBOX and I?ll leaving the Wii out of this GO PC!
Gameplay: I can speak for hours about the different layouts of all three games but I?m only going to say how I feel out the layouts that work best with me. In MGS2 the overview can affect my shooting so shooting is basic you move at the person until you face them and shoot, but you can go into a FPS (first person shooter) point of view to aim this applies for both MGS 2 and 3 but not for peace walker. Peace walker is more of a TPS (third person shooter) game and not much sneaking like in the other two. In my opinion MGS 2 and 3 are good but for me MGS PW is my favorite in gameplay.
Graphics: What can I say about the graphics? I have played both MGS 2, 3 and PW on the systems they were built for and playing the games in HD they look pretty good the one that impressed me the most was MGS 3. MGS 2 and peace walker are good in graphics but somewhat fail to impress me I prefer MGS PW on PSP and MGS 2 on the old console. Detail in the HD format is very good mostly in MGS 3. The trees, grass, water, guns, AI, player and more are very detailed in a way that creates an atmosphere of game play that I enjoy. In my opinion MGS 3 is my favorite in graphics.
Story: I don?t want to spoil any real deep areas in the game so if you take little details of the story too deep you should skip this part because I?m only starting at the beginning of the games. MGS 2 is based in the 21st century when Snake (the main character) jumps onto a tanker under the Golden Gate Bridge. Later after some talking you find out that you are with an Anti-Metal Gear group that wants to show the world metal gear. MGS 3 you are Jack (Snake) that goes to Russia to find a professor that is working on a project and needs to get to the other side of the Iron Curtain to meet up with the Americans. MGS Peace Walker you are Big Boss (Snake) who is in the M.S.F that are trying to find stolen nukes. MGS PW is my favorite in story.
Multiplayer: MGS PW has the only multiplayer and with little to offer I haven checked but I think it has 6 player co-op. It has TDM, CTF, DM, and more but not much to offer for
multiplayer and I don?t blame them it?s a PSP game ported to the XBOX and PS3.
Extras: The extras are not interesting in MGS 2 and PW, but in MGS 3 you have the old NES MGS 1 and MGS 2 and Snake vs. Monkeys were you go around tazering 3D cartoon monkeys. There are a few in the MGS PW campaign like when you search trucks and fight with a banana. But that?s about it sorry if I left out any extras in MGS 2 so MGS 3 is my favorite in extras.
