I enjoy most metal (favorite is melodic death), but honestly metalheads cannot unite. Many of them are too pretentious, and if you mention one band they dislike, suddenly everybody is arguing over the merits of one band/style over another.

I've confirmed through personal experimentation that even something so mundane as sweeping the floor is made awesome by having "Fly" or "Turn the Page" in the background. Especially if you flourish the broom like a quarterstaff.rainman2203 said:

Incidentally any attempt to get metal heads to genuinely unite in large numbers will be hamstrung by the wide variety of different tastes and sub-genres. For example it's rare to find an avid Opeth fan who doesn't scoff at Slipknot or Cradle.. extrapolate from there.
Oh fuck it. When moshing, everyone gets beaten up anyway. Insert devil-horns here.
