I absolutely loved the first game! can't effin wait!

I hope this one is much better optimized also. In the first game, even on low it chugged my rig.

"Metro 2033" book had a sequel, "Metro 2034", it was... Quite upsetting. Don't know if it has anything to do with this, though.

I hope its better than the original. Overall it worked well but the bugs and the lack of.... I want to say the level of commitment to a hardcore style game wasn't really there. And if you want to say that it wasn't then thats fine. But on the whole I feel that they were striving for a mark that they barely missed and I hope that this sequel will help the developers to get everything they want in the game there this time.

Uh huh.

I liked Metro 2033 and I'm interested in the sequel.

That said, that has to be the worst trailer I've ever seen.

That was...random. Still, a sequel, or prequel, to Metro 2033 can only be a good thing (I hope). Can't wait to learn more about it. I just hope they bring this game to a more satisfying ending. They didn't even travel once to that city of those 'new humans'.

Que? Last time I checked it was fantastically scaled. If I switched from DX11 to DX9 and turned the graphics on High, my old computer could still run it flawlessly, and that was a pretty crappy machine for a game like Metro 2033.

I enjoyed metro 2033, but the clippy mechanics stopped me ever doing a second playthrough.

I'll give this a chance cause its a great story, but the trailer was uninspiring tbh.

Looks like it could be interesting. As long as they ditch that obnoxious autosave. Although I was hoping they'd go with 2034 so as to increase demand for the book and hopefully wind up getting it translated into english.

I enjoyed the 99.9% of the game I managed to get through before the last boss proved impossible to kill. Damn you lag!

Then I think my computer is the one that needs upgrading. :p

May I ask what your computer's specs are? Sure, Metro 2033 scaled well, but of course it was still a state-of-the-art game. Expecting it to run with a severly outdated machine would be silly.

Intel(R) core(TM) 2 Duo E7300 @ 2.66GHZ 2.67Ghz
4GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4650

Mind you I'm not really knowledgeable about PC specs, is this decent?

Ehhhhhh not really for modern gaming. It'd probably manage quite a few games on med-ish settings, seeing as required specs are slowly leveling out a bit for a while now, but your rig is really starting to age, especially if you want to run cutting-edge games like Metro 2033. Even good scaling can't cope with that.

But at least you can build a good gaming rig on a pretty tight budget these days. You'll definitely need one if you want to play the new Metro game.
